You'll never guess what the doc prescribed. (Sadly, you probably will.)

I went to my GP today to report back after my last T test where I bottomed out at 46 on the US scale. (That was my second reading under 250 - excellent! I needed that to stay legal.)

So he said "OK, now I believe you. Let's do Sustanon 250 every three weeks."

So I told him I didn't really like roller-coaster rides and said thanks but no thanks.

He did order an MRI, so I'll get than done in ten days, and finally I might be able to get some injectable testosterone.

Then I went and had a good chat to the pharmacist and he couldn't find anything in his product list that was designed for self-injection - just ampoules with three weeks' supply.

Are there any Aussie guys out there can tell me what I need to ask for? This is now all legal and approved, and I'm still in the dark.

(And I'm still using AndroForte cream, and as long as I rub it on three times a day at least the depression is gone, and the mind focus is there.)

I have shot Sustanon (sust) 250 sub-q at 75mg a shot and i love it,, Sustanon (sust) has gotten a bad rap lately ,but for me i would prefer it to cypionate any day.I have been on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for 6 years now,and i love Sustanon (sust) way more than cyp.I do my shots every other day.

Good timing(me checking this site), I just got taken off 10% compound cream today as my free test is 45 pmol/L (60-130) after a year on it.

I asked to self administer and was given Primoteston Depot, it comes in preloaded 1ml(250mg) syringes, 3 in a box. Buy some separate syringes, take the cap off the Primoteston and divide/preload it up into how ever many syringes you need. Im going for twice weekly, monday/thursday. In your case that would be 41ml each syringe.

Im in QLD.

Thanks mate! I really needed that info!

And jlguitar: Ditto.

I've got an appointment (by phone) with my doc on Monday.

The absolute key from all the research I have done is frequent injections. Jlguitar: yes, since I wrote that about Sustanon (sust) I have learned more about it - mainly that Test is Test. I now don't really care what I get - Enthanate, Cyp, Sust, Prop - whatever. As long as I can self-inject at least twice a week.

Re transdermals: there appear to be three groups:
1. People who try them and fade away.
2. Those who use them and get OK results.
3. Those who use them for a while, move to injectables and would never go back to creams or gels.

I certainly haven't found many - if any - who say they have been on them for a long time and who swear by them, whereas there are a lot of transdermal users who gave up and moved to injectables and are complete evangelists for it.

In other words, in everything i have read, there are zero huge fans of transdermals.

Personally: I reckon if I rubbed the stuff in 24 hours per day I might be OK.

One other thing: the incidence of some degree of gyno seems to be high with transdermals, even though the resulting T levels aren't at all high. I need half an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) tab twice a week, minimum, and I reckon my T levels are still right on the bottom of the chart. (Bumped my nipple in the gym today - ouch!)
