Your life PRIOR to TRT??

I'm curious how those on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) felt prior to beginning therapy?

I've read about the various symptoms and possible indicators of andropause, low T, hypogonadism, etc, but I'd like to know from a subjective view what occurred in your life that motivated you to consider TRT.

Thanks to any who read/reply.

For me actually I had no idea I had low test...I was always feeling tired and foggy, my concentraion was lacking and was not making any progress in the gym, well some but nothing spectacular, and when your a pilot this can be bad mix as well...I figured something was wrong since my wife started breaking my balls about not paying attention to her and I really never new the reason until I got checked, I am the one who had to tell my doctor to look at my levels (seen all the comercials), which we did and they were of a 80 year old man (I am 47) so that was a shocker..There are a lot of symtoms like mood and all but I am just glad I found the reason why I was like this... hope this helps

BTW...My doctor didnt know anything about low T and really didnt know how to treat it so I left him and went with IMT which I found on here, check them out and they will give you all the information you need to know..It is easier to go to their website and fill in the information and they will call you...tell them I sent ya.............:)

Before testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), I used to have to hang my dick over a fence so I wouldn't piss on my boots. After testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), I have to tuck my hard dick under the fence so I won't piss on my face.....lol. Seriously though, I actually regained my life back. I lived with low T levels for year and I was on a downward spiral. Depression set in, sex drive was non existent, gaining weight, no energy, negative outlook on life, etc. After testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) all of that changed. I feel better than I ever have felt. If you are thinking about testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), get with a company that knows their stuff like IMT. There is a lot to dial in with your hormones and it is nice to know you have the backing from a good company.

MOE,

Thanks man I really appreciate your honest response. I myself can check off basically every standard symptom that I've read. I also am distrustful of PCPs and the medical system to listen to me and take care of the problem if it exists. I have made an appt with a local urologist a couple weeks from now but I may try to find a lab in a nearby state to get some blood work done on my own. Figure it can't hurt to go in with ammo in the event the docs are not helpful. I will def check out IMT if the docs fall through and I feel I have a problem.

Rip,

Lmao, great analogy, message received lol. And thanks for the honest info. People on this site are def big fans of IMT, not sure if we've got a bunch of reps here or just really satisfied customers lol. Either way, I've got to get some lab work done before IMT will work with me. I had a physical about a year ago and a final physical about 6mos ago when separating from the mil. Hopefully, that works bc it can be a huge pain in the ass to find a PCP and get a physical done :-/. Thanks again man!

Haha. Yeah, I figured I would give that analogy. Lol. I will say that I am not with IMT, but I don't like my current testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) company and once my script is up for renewal, I will be switching over. I have talked with IMT several times and they definitely know their stuff when it comes to hormones. I tried the whole PCP, Urologist stuff with local docs but I will say that 90% of them are clueless when it comes to effective testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) treatment. They will either give you gels/creams and totally disregard Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) usage and estrogen control. See how it goes and just know you have other options. If for some reason your PCP doesn't want to blood test you again, then you can always use another private lab to get testing. It is actually pretty reasonable on the pricing.

Rip is right, you might be barking up a wrong tree where the doctors have no clue how to treat testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), that is what I found out and the hard way if that, just dosent seem like a doctors are educated enough on this (at least mine wasnt) but good luck and keep us posted on what you do...there is light and the end of the tunnel and a new world belive me.......I am just starting out myself with IMT and will let you know how I make out if you would like..

Rip very fucking funny description of low T stll laughing!

MOE,

Agreed, the doctors thing may be a total waste, but to borrow some trendy phrasing, I'm doing my due diligence as far as the basic and legal route. If the docs fail I'll look to IMT etc. If that seems out of my price range (as insurance will not cover) then I'll look to PHs maybe. Cycle is my last choice right now bc of the legal issues. Symptoms related to low T are synonymous with other conditions so I cld totally be off base, we'll see what the docs say. Thanks again and any updates would be great and I'll do the same!

Tired, low energy. Difficult to keep erection. Long recovery after hard work out / wiped out too. Noticed this started 6 years ago and finally got to the point that I had my T check last year as part of normal check up. 310. PCP would not do anything. Waited some more. Last week was 280. Test taken at 8am...the time of day with highest T. Had first injection one week ago. Still waiting to see if results are just mental but i feel less depressed, morning wood today. Feeling good. I'm still quite concerned about side effects. Using a men's health TRT. Btw...51 yr old.

simply, like crap. still do, since i am only one week in. extreme fatigue, lack of motivation, concentration and memory poor compared to earlier in life. basically feeling 52 at 32. also, no libido.

i got tired of feeling like i was dragging myself through life on coffee and Red Bull.

got tested - 383. great, if you are 80.
