It really depends on the muscle group I am working, and what kind of weight I am lifting. Heavier weights w/ compound exercises, I usually take a 2-3 minute break. For the smaller groups It is more like 1-2 minutes. As I get closer to a show, I try to speed that time up as well.

Thats probably because when I gain weight I grow out my beard to hide my bloated face. When I lean down I shave my beard off and look a lot different. Currently I am sporting the beard cuz I am a lot heavier....
