1" pin -1-1/2" pin?

I have a 1" 25mg pin and a 1-1/2" 25mg pin, what one will work best for my glutes,thighs, and shoulders? I'm about 11%BDF, and don't want to go to deep. I'm not so worried about glutes but other areas are concern. Pinning test prop 100mg eod, alternating sites.
 
your pins are 25 milli grams?

lol i'd say the likelihood that he meant 25g is somewhere between really likely and really really for really likely.

that being said.... and assuming that is the case....

i'd say just use the 1 inch pins for everything.

i started with 23g 1.5inch and used those for the ass and quads when i went to quads but i didn't go all the way in when pinning quads. then i switched over to the 25g 1inch and i like those. i use those for everything now, ass, quads, delts, pecs, ventro glute.
 
I'd use the 25g 1" pins. They are long enough to hit the glutes, quads, chest, deltoids all very well. I personally like using slin pins for everything except glutes/quads.
 
Unless you are unusually slight of build...

I'm going to respectfully disagree, and recommend 1 1/2" for glutes and 1" for most other sites.

i would think for most people that are under about 12% bf a 1 inch needle will more than suffice.

for anyone else, i'd say the same thing, 1.5 inch is probably better for the glutes. just from what i've seen anyway. even bk was actually using my 1 inchers and he's a lot fattier than i am.
 
i use 22g1 and 1/2 for everything. mainly because i have a case of 250. however, i like the idea of using a 1 1/2 in for all spots. gauge may vary. never need to pin the entire length in case you were to bake the needle. you would need something to grab onto topull it out. imo

not arguing your points.... although breaking the needle is not a possibility unless you're pinning on a C130, and even then i'd say if it isn't during take-off or landing you're probably legit.
 
I use 1" 25ga pins for everything but glutes.I use 1.5" ga for glutes but I'm 250 lbs with a big ass from heavy squats.
 
boy "o" boy! everybody wants to chime in on this one. cool im gonna use 25g 1-1/2" for glutes and 25g 1" for all other. Thanks a lot every one, this board is full of a lot of cool bro's! and few sisters! PEACE
