1100 pound squat

On the video I saw, the 1175 was a VERY near miss. He got it down and up, but just didn't quite go deep enough.
 
This one time I went to a gym here in Pittsburgh, PA and was just there for one day working out with a friend from out of town. There was this big guy in the back using the powerlifting squat rack. I didn't talk to him, but apparently the person I was with did (I guess since she's a girl lol). She said that he said he squats 1000 in meets....any idea who this might be, Dadawg? Maybe I should go back to that gym and see if I could talk to him or something. Kinda long drive, though, but it may be worth it.

Well, hard to tell from the pic. This was a while ago, too (back in early January). He was big and bald, but then again, most powerlifters seem to be lol. Is he from Pittsburgh?
 
Dadawg, Mikes gym is close to the New Jersey border i beleive. About five hours from Pittsburg.

yeah but i imagine hes traveled around and worked out at different places . hell the list of guys with a 1000 pound squat in the bag is pretty small .

Either that or it was just some guy trying to impress the girl I was with lol.
