1500 t level 62 yr old

Yes you hit a nerve for sure.. LOL.. The word 'dangerously' was probably too strong a word too use.. Just a number I wouldn't feel safe with, just a personal preference due to lack of info what the long term reprecusions or benefits could be.. Now can we all just get along :)

I think by definition testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is Testosterone Replacement Therapy. If you are at higher than normal levels, this exceeds replacement dosage in theory. That doesn't mean some people or their bodies may not find the best "new balanced environment" at levels a bit above what most consider normal. There's a lot of moving parts and getting the system solid and balanced at different point when the original equilibrium is shot seems a blend or art/science/experience. My unprofessional opinion is that if you are monitoring bloods and vitals with care, you are probably okay but as others have said, my word means nothing to YOUR health at the end of the day.

I don't necessarily think that all Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) specialists believe the normal range is equivalent to an ideal range. No more or less than current normal RANGE of body fat in the U.S. can be considered ideal.

I would bet that as this area moves forward, the level below which doctors are willing to treat continues to creep up and the levels they are willing to attain through therapy also creep up.

In the mean time, this area of specialty has to overcome the negative image of "steroids" and steroid use/abuse, which has been effectively reported on and sensationalized by the media. It also has to overcome the belief that getting fat, growing boobs and feeling like shit is a normal part of aging, a reason many doctors just brush off T treament and low T symptoms to begin with.

Just my .02

get retested the day before next shot. I too think you tested at your peak blood level. Some people have dramatic swings in there blood levels.
