18 yr old - Low Testosterone

Scratch what I said before, getting off the test while you can and trying a SERM/hCG restart and see how things go would be a better option, yes it may not be the most exciting thing short-term, but you have to think long-term when you're talking TRT. I would have done a SERM/hCG benfore ever jumping on TRT, however my LH/FSH levels were already in normal/high range so the problem is not in my pituitary which it seems yours is.

Could you provide me a routine? You only mentioned clomid the first time - should I do both?

Any useful links?

Standard HRT protocols for HCG in young secondary hypogonadal men is:
350 i.u. 3 times a week i.e. (Mon*Wed*Fri) and do blood labs after 8 weeks.
if that dose is not doing enough you can go to 400 i.u. EOD or you can try 500 i.u. E3D
You need Estradiol levels tested as well....
as a safety precaution have an AI like arimidex on hand at least....
You can employ 0.25 mg ADEX E3D and see how you do after 4 weeks on the HCG.

OR

Clomid 50 mg EOD (Mon*Wed*Fri) for 4-6 months....
do labs two months into this and 1 month after protocol is done.

This is not medical advice I'm giving you as I am not a medical doctor.
But these are well known standard protocols for "restarts".
"Restarts" have different facets some use HCG for a duration of time and then it's bridged with an SERM like clomid and continues the desired course for a set amount of time.

I meant that it's possible for people to have 330ish testosterone and to be functioning fine and even be athletes with little to no symptoms.

If this is the way you see it....
You have nothing to lose doing a proper restart instead of risking frying your HPTA with Exo Test.

I think you would be best served going to IMT. This stuff is their territory.
Most Endo's don't have a clue and just go by what is FDA approved in their manuals.

Looking back at your OP I don't see Prolactin levels mentioned anywhere. Nor any mention of an MRI of your Pituitary.
Have you even had a sleep study done Legitsrs ?
Don't listen to the quickest approach to dealing with your Low T...it's not always the best and I know something about that.

Apollon, would you also recommend that same protocol (HCG 3 times a week 350-400 i.u) for HCG monotherapy?

I don't recommend anything. You are free to do as you choose. I'm just discussing what "protocols"(one of many) are in place for HCG mono therapy.

okey, well do you know what is considered maximum amount of hcg to use in monotherapy without causing too high intratesticular levels?

1000 iu./week
no more than 1500 i.u. in most cases.
Although HCG dosing is anecdotal where ever you search for protocols.
key to HCG is finding the right dose that helps you without taking too much.

A big disadvantage of TRT is that once you start you have to do it for the rest of your life. If you start and then quit, you are likely to be worse off than when you started. Your body will not just bounce back to what it was before.

That said, I have been on TRT for 6 months and I love it. But I am 71 so the rest of my life doen't look like such a long time.

Wow! Trt @ 71 did u just start? Or been on it for awhile

My dad is 72 this year and asked me about some ED help as he is about to be married again( 3rd marriage after my mom passed ) 5 years ago. He is worried about prostate health as he is prostate cancer free for 6 years now.
Is the prostate cancer really a issue with trt
Just reread your post - you've been on fir 6 months. What's yur weekly dose?
