1st post: 200mg every 2nd week

Greetings everyone! My first post here so I hope I make sense. I'm 36, 5' 10" 205 lb (pretty good shape physically) and was diagnosed with low T. I think my score was 240 and they said 300-900 was normal. I've been reading the forums and it seems like the scores and the ranges vary so I'm not sure if there are multiple standards. I'm on week 2 of my first injection 200mg of Cyp (bimonthly shots) and I haven't noticed any difference at all. My symptoms were textbook: low energy, lack of focus, low sex drive, excess body fat and a lack of (super slow) muscle development despite an intense exercise program and nutrition program designed by an expensive professional trainer. I am going through my doctor's office but they gave me the injections to take home and do myself. Everything is legal and legit.
The questions I have are

1. When will I notice results
2. How important is it to get my estrogen levels tested
3. Why do I see some people on much higher doses? Am I getting a low dose?
4. When should I get retested to see how the shots are doing? What score should I be trying to obtain?
5. I was thinking about doing 1/2 a cc every week instead of the full cc every 2 weeks... this a mistake?
6. How quickly have other people noticed results?
7. Why are people taking additional products with their TRT?

Hey bro, welcome to the boards, sincerely. I'll briefly touch on your numerous questions, but you are going to have to, in advance, forgive me if you have "thin skin". Two things.... First, You didn't state who you are getting your Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) thru? Don't need names, but is it a doc or self administered? If it's a doc, than you should head for the hills and contact me immediately before you are seriously messed up for good! Any "doc" that is such a complete, uneducated JACKOFF that would ALLOW YOU to harm yourself by giving injections every two weeks, should have his damn license revoked! Even the longest estered testosterone should be injected no more than 5 days apart!

If this is self administered, YOU NEED TO CALL ME IMMEDIATELY, cause you don't know what you are doing and Ur gonna hurt urself.

BUT EITHER WAY, YOU NEED TO CALL ME!

1. When will I notice results

You should but your dose is kind of low. Double that is usually the minimum i see.

2. How important is it to get my estrogen levels tested

Important. most guys report a comfortable E2 level around 28-29.

3. Why do I see some people on much higher doses? Am I getting a low dose?

Kinda.

4. When should I get retested to see how the shots are doing? What score should I be trying to obtain?

You should get re-tested after 6 weeks of initially starting therapy. 7-800 would be comfortable for most.

6. How quickly have other people noticed results?

You should be peaking at like 6 weeks.

7. Why are people taking additional products with their TRT?

HCG, aromtase inhibitor.

I agree with Chip, need to inform yourself.

testosterone is a 3 day drug

Test cyp has a 5-8 day half life depending on how the individual metabolizes it.

To the OP -- your doc is trying to be helpful but really isn't up to speed with current testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) protocols. ANY doc who is not aware of the half life I mentioned above is being irresponsible with their testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dosing protocol. If you go back to your doc ask him/her what the half life of test cyp is. If they tell you 5-8 days then ask him/her why the fuck they would have you dosing once every two weeks. If they say anything longer than 10 days kick that person in the junk and walk out. Then call one of the Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) sponsors from here on the board and they'll get you straightened out.

Bloodworks3 - do you have a copy of your blood work?

if i ever need to run on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) im not going through my doctors. lol. they are complete morons.

come january im getting my blood work retaken.

Some good feedback so far. Thanks to everyone who has posted. These posts have presented more questions.

What exactly is the sponsors role on this website and how can they help me? Do they prescribe or sell products? Are they medical doctors? Right now all of this is costing me pretty much nothing and is covered by my insurance. If I need to split my shots into twice a week or something isn't that something I should discuss with my doctor? That being said I really don't want to screw around with my hormone levels but I'm worried about the costs of help from "Sponsors" and don't want someone to try and sell me on some over the counter super supplement product. Is there an angle here for them? Chip asked me to call him and I suppose I should know how to find his number but I don't.

hey bloodworks3,

I can definitely understand your position. Hrt/trt.... Hormone replacement therapy/testosterone replacement therapy is a field of medicine that is centered around restoring your body's hormonal levels to the healthy state they were in during your younger years. Its not snake oil, my brother. Maximus Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is my company. Dave bergstrom is one of my 5 consultants. Over the years and with incredibly positive exposure from this forum, my reputation has grown into that of being one of the most highly regarded Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) experts in the country. And it only got that way because i was a patient first. Its not a dream i "sell"..... Its the one that saved my own life, and that i live. I dont ever question "if" i can help someone grab control of their life, i establish with them "how quickly" they want to get where i'm going to take them. Period. That being said, visit our website, call our toll free number. Feel free to ask for dave bergstrom or myself, submit your paperwork on the site and register for the vacation of your dreams at any sandals resort in the world. There's only one condition...... I refuse to let you go on it until you look and feel the way you've always dreamed of!!!! Lol. Get on board and enjoy the ride, chief!!

Hey bloodworks and anyone else considering trt/hrt, I just felt I had to chime in on this one. I am a client of Chips. Not a salesman, and not part of his team. I battled a host of issues regarding low test for a few years until I found this site. After considering the different options for treatment (self-prescribed, go to the regular doctor, or call Chip) I called Chip out of the blue.
I was left with such an impression by both his immense knowledge and genuine care for his patients that I decided to go with him on the spot. Two weeks later I was able to live life the way it should be lived. I would not ever consider rolling the dice with a regular doctor who can't possibly have an ounce of the practical, real world experience that this man brings to the table. On top of that, Chip is a man of impeccable integrity. He has followed through with every promise, answered my questions at insane working hours, and always guided me in the right direction.
I truly believe that if I had not found Maximushrt, my life nor body would not be what it is today.
If you are considering trt/hrt, there is no other option in my opinion. Maximushrt is gold
Thanks again Chip

WOW. Mason..... I dont really think that the words "thank you" can even begin to express the way that your post just made me feel. Yeah, I'm a big dude, but i am sensitive. Lol
the only thing that i feel bad about is that i don't know who is behind the avatar, so please pm me or shoot me a text. The public compliments that you just gave me can not have a price put on them. This is why i do what i do for a living, members. Because when you have one person who sincerely believes in the impact that you have on their life, and then they have the guts to stand by you through the storm and on into "The Dawn of a New Era", it makes any other negativity that ever transpired meaningless!! Thanks, Mason!

Right on Mason.

Bloodwork, you use a doctor if you just want to "get it done". Use Chip if you want to see how far you can take this. We are not just talking "gettin' big" but resloving issues that people our age have. You have to become knowledgeable however to make this a reality. Make sure and understand your goals. This will lead you to the right people. Chip is "right people".

Your welcome Chip, but really no thanks is needed. I just think people on this board should know a bit about how you operate.
Also, I'm the 30yr old guy in Kentucky who felt so good on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I decided to finish college.

To that note there a couple of 21 yr old college girls down here that would like to thank you as well.lol
College girls are fucking amazing btw: "I keep getting older, and they stay the same age"

I would totally go with Chip as he is a hell of a lot cheaper than going through a pharmacy. Insurance seems to only cover 250mg every 2 weeks and my body metabolizes it much faster than that. It sucks paying literally 10 times what you can get them from chip's doc for. I would use him in a heartbeat if I was old enough.
