I don't know what kind of ranges that lab you went to has....but this is something else.
but the worst lab here I went to(stopped going) has a range for FT3 2.9-6 pmol/l
you have 2.7 pmol/l....you are below range.
Had more bloods come back, T is still low and thryoid is looking worse for ware... Still not help with the thryoid so going to try iodine sticky.
Bloods
thyroid antibodies - negative
t4 - 17.9 (12-22)
TSH - 3.8 (0.2-4.20)
LH - 2.0
FSH - 2.6
estro - 36 (28-156)
Test - 5.2 (7.6-31)
shbg - 27 (14.5 - 48.4)
The lab forgot to do t3 but iv had it done before in previous bloods posted...
Wow! Your TSH really spiked up. Any changes in medications or health that you can think of that might have had an impact?
As for testosterone, have you given more thought to trying an HPTA restart? What does your doctor say?
yeh on a few blood tests its been 2.9-4 so its fluctuates between that, but both endo's iv seen are hessitant to do anything with it... and no changes atall bar trying to reduce training.
Both endos want to prescribe testogel 50mg 2 months to see how I feel, neither feel a restart is worthy which is a bit dissapointing, with medical guidance and follow up blood tests id like to give it a shot... But they say its not really medically practiced in the UK and neither could pescribe whats needed so to go TRT basically...
I think its my hypathalymas and GnRH being the main issue, which i dont think you can treat all too easy bar pulsating gnrh which is a bit tricky... so i think ill try the TRT once iv got fertility storage...
Why not try a restart on your own before committing to TRT at a young age?
Only because if 2 endo's cant advise it im not sure im qualified enough to go against there decision on it :/ they both say ill just return to what I am now after...
Running hCG and or SERMs has some risk but in my non-medical opinion the risk is fairly low. You should do some research and draw your own conclusion.
Agreed I did run Nolva once when I done a single PH cycle (both endo's know about this) but im not sure id benefit from running Clomid blind in order to restart without having an endo keeping an eye on the blood results to see if its actually working (I wouldnt be able to get bloods done without endo knowing why i need them...)
Many guys who were hypogonadal and go on TRT see some improvement in thyroid function.
Your TSH is climbing...
but you had hypothyroid levels of FT3 a while back. Your FT4 was not good either.
Is that Total T4 you tested this time around?
I don't know why this hypogonadism is not being treated...
you are at 150 ng/dl....
your thyroid is not going to improve or benefit at those levels...
