23 - Blood Test Results - Low T - High Estro?

Weird. I replied to you but it says waiting for moderation. Maybe because I posted two links to his website. I wouldn't be surprised if that sort of thing is banned here. Anyhow, he thinks Free T is useless. Bioavailable T is better. But I'll be testing Total T and estradiol in 2 months.

Also, what's more important: How are you feeling??

What was the reference range? I know Canadians follow a mol reference range but I'm trying to figure out if that 316 figure is an accurate conversion and what weight that number has in a reference range.

I don't recall but what were your symptoms before and how severe? How is your libido now and how does it compare to before HcG?

did you end up with low T because of past cycles? If so what and how much? I have a friend who is 27 in your same situation

Good questions.

The number is accurate. The range at the lab I get my blood tests at is 8-27. My doc said he's seen the range go as high as 38. (38x28.843= 1096) To turn any Canadian number into American, you multiply by 28.843. My first T test said Total T was 11.3 which gives me 325 in US units. I mistakenly thought I was at 316. My post-HCG result was 27 (x 28.843 = 779).

As for how I'm feeling: better. But a little surprised that the difference isn't more night and day. From what I've read on here, guys felt like super humans when going on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and I don't feel that way. The doc said that the effects will trickle in though... I discuss that a bit in a video I will upload later today.

My symptoms before were tired with poor sleep, low libido (jacked off every few days, never got morning erections), and no interest in my hobbies. Those have all been reversed. Now I'm horny enough to jack off about once per day, sleep fine, and am working daily on my hobby. If I wasn't working so hard I would probably jack off more per day, oh well.

No cycles. Doc thinks it was from multiple concussions I've had in my past. Been feeling tired and mildly depressed for past 4-5 years. Always thought it was in my head. I discuss everything on the youtube channel; I have ~10 vids on there.

Like the other member suggested, free testosterone is important. Perhaps more important as far as feeling good. You could have a high total testosterone of 1000 but if it is all being used up, leaving behind a low free testosterone level; it'll feel just as bad as someone with low testosterone. It's important to make sure your free testosterone levels are in a high range in conjunction with a high level of total testosterone. Estrogen levels are also important as well. Maybe that is all that is left. Hopefully dialing in other hormones will get you from feeling "better" to being a "super human". Also, take into consideration that those night and day differences are probably due to those who had severely low testosterone scores to begin with so having a protocol that brought them back up at the upper range will most likely net a more dramatic change than someone with a moderately low score.

I remember you saying you had highs and lows with your motivation and libido levels and in your new video you stated you still had some fluctuation with your motivation. How 'bout your libido? What did the doc say about the HcG losing its potency over 30 days like you mentioned before?

I answer a lot of these in the second update video I made. I'll upload it soon. In the mean time:

A lot of things are getting tested in 2 months. Estradiol will be one of them.

He said the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is good for 2 months, toss it after that.

He said only 30% of his patients respond to HCG. I'm one of those few. He said some didn't notice benefits until 3 months. One, a Dr., took 1 year to notice benefits. So he explained that for me to see benefits in sleep, libido, and even the motivation-in-waves-thing is a good sign and things should get better as time goes on. Again, we'll be rechecking estradiol (+others) in 2 months, and if I feel like I'm on a roller-coaster still then I assume an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) will be prescribed. I have no doubts in my Dr, he is one of, if not the best, in Canada.

In regards to free testosterone, I did respond but my post was deleted because I posted a link to my doctor's website. Basically, he thinks looking at free T is a waste of time, it's better to look at bioavailable T. Additionally, I THINK that he (not sure here) generally ignores free/bioavailable T when Total T is high. I THINK that free/bioavailable T is only considered when Total T is on the low side. I could be wrong.

u should really look into talk to chip about all this.. he's the expert on hrt
Chip's good, but I'm in Canada and am pleased with my results.

Dude, why the hell was lowtguy banned? His condition was legitimate and was not a spammer trying to sell anything. This is bullshit.

why was he banned? this was possibly the best thread on this section

His youtube page said he was banned for being a spammer. I saw this cat on youtube a few months ago and recommended he join steroidology.

i saw that he was banned earlier.. but the ban has been lifted...

so everyone settle down...

sometimes mistakes happen... a member here who is a good friend of mine got accidentally banned when a scamming thread was modified and deleted... i reinstated him.. shit happens.. we do our best to fix it

yeah, I'm back. Thanks guys. I think what happened is I was answering a question in this thread about Free T vs Bioavailable T and I quoted my doctor's website, and then provided a link to it. After hitting submit, it said the post was not approved and would need to be by a moderator. I acknowledged this in a post on page 2:

"Weird. I replied to you but it says waiting for moderation. Maybe because I posted two links to his website. I wouldn't be surprised if that sort of thing is banned here. Anyhow, he thinks Free T is useless. Bioavailable T is better. But I'll be testing Total T and estradiol in 2 months."

I'm pretty sure that somehow got me banned. Anyways, glad to be back!

As I stated in my latest youtube videos, I won't be making videos as often now. The next update will probably be in 2 months when I get a wide range of things tested. Right now I feel pretty good. Actually I feel amazing but I can't attribute it all to the increase in testosterone. I've also switched to a paleo diet, which is eating meat, fish, veggies, nuts, and fruit. Nothing processed, no grains, no sugar, no salt, no dairy. I've had oily skin all my life and it has stopped completely. The weirdest thing is my hands. I shook my buddy's hand yesterday and he was like, dude, why are your hands so smooth? I didn't realize at the time, but the oil on my hands is completely gone. I used to have to wipe down my iphone screen about once a day because there would be fingerprints and smudges, now there is nothing. This is so fucking weird. And I've been eating paleo for 3 days now. So very cool, and I will update on how that is going using my youtube channel.

Oh, the reason I switched to a paleo diet... I've told a few guys that I've been talking to on youtube that as of my follow-up appointment, I was going to start being more responsible with my life and trying to live the best I could. So along with overhauling my diet, which was pretty clean before (no pop, no junk food, no candy, high protein), I've also set myself on fixing my sleep patterns (sticking to a 10pm bedtime and 630 wakeup time, along with blacking out my room and not using a computer or bright lighting for an hour or two before bed), and focusing energy on changing some of my negative beliefs. I'm not using any sort of system or self-help book to do that, just meditating on who I've become and why I have a lot of negative beliefs, and then acting the opposite way, or whatever the positive/empowering belief would direct me to act. Basically, I'm living more consciously. I'll update in regards to all of this, plus the testosterone and hormone levels, on my youtube channel. And I may not continue to post on this thread, but I am subscribed and get an email whenever someone replies here, so I'll be back to reply if anyone has questions or comments.

Lastly, thanks everyone on here who has made this place what it is. In a short time, I have learned a so much about testosterone and everything related to it. There are some great people here that are very knowledgeable, and the fact that you guys stick around to help all the new guys is commendable. Thanks again guys!

Just wondering, did you find out your SHBG level? I ask this because your total t and estrogen look simillar to mine yet i have a low SHBG.
