23G pin for drawing and injecting?

Took advantage of the RUI sale last night. Is a 23G too small for the domestic line test-c?

Plan is to draw with 23G, replace with new23G before using (either quads or glutes).

Most posts recommend 20 or 21G for drawing. Also, research has stated that dull needle is felt much more in smaller muscles than bigger. So wondering if anyone proceeds without changing pins for quads, glutes.

Thanks

i draw ashott witht he same pin and its 23g its no problem.

read alot of the talk about changeing the heads before shooting. i felt ZERO diffrence.
if you feel better to change the tips do it but it dont matter at all.

O no respectfully disagree, I have one pin that I use just for drawing, then I put the new one on each time. Just by poking through the stopper dulls the shit out of if, i used to think it was bullshit until it was so hard to pin my skin was depressing as i was pushing it in, very painful. use a new one, feels so much better and eaiser.

i draw with a 23g, then switch to a new 23g..why risk infection, not to mention the needle does become noticeable more dull after you poke with it once

23 is fine. thats what i use. and i use the same pin to draw as i do to inject. unless im sucking from 2 vials, i will change the needle. and when i do smaller muscles like bis, i switch to a 25x1/2 inch

Now let's say you are running one or more compounds? do you draw them all into the same pin or pin twice on different days or something? I always wondered this and If you do draw them both into the same how do you keep from cross contaminating your virgin vials?

hey when you pin from 2 vials.. how do you do that? pressurize the first then draw what you need, pull it out, then draw what you need from the next vial, in air.. then pressurize the next vial.. etc ?

i draw with 21 or 18 and switch back to a 23 or 25

good point this is when it will make the diffrence. 2-4 vials ya it will end up blunt and hurt more.

Guys, these are all decent questions, but it is my opinion that you're over-thinking the topic. If you practice the hygienic basics, contamination or cross contamination are very unlikely.

the main reason i draw with a bigger ga. needle is bc it draws much much faster...1 poke through the rubber doesn't dull the needle to where u will actually notice it...like stated above keeping sterile is key.

ya exactly. so you draw out of the first vial like normal. then u hold the syringe needle side up, draw in the air that u plan to suck from the next vial. put needle in the next vial, push in the air, then start sucking out.

then switch pins to a fresh one before injecting. i actually notice much more pain when not switching needles after drawing from 2 or more vials. so its definately a good idea.

i have tried it all.. switching needles, not switching, drawing with bigger gauge, etc etc....

IMO its all the same crap .. the only plus about drawing with a thicker gauge is the ease of sucking out the juice.. but i poke into 2 vials and then into my quad with the same needle.. alcohol swab the shit out of everything before and bag everything when done !

agreed. its all overrated. I draw and pin with a single 23

I draw with an 18 and inject with a 25. The 25 forces you to inject slowly and is painless. I doubt you'd have any problem using a 23 for both purposes though.
