Hi guys wondering if i can use a 29g 1/2" needle and 1ml (cc) for intramuscular injections into upper hip/quadriceps/hamstring and also biceps/triceps. cheers
Not true; I use 29ga 1/2" with T400 and other similarly weighted products, takes 3-4min to load and 30sec to inject. A typical light weight test P 100 is ~ 1min to load with similar ratio injection times.
^ Far too much hyperbole in this thread for it's own good.
3-4 mins to inject? You guys joking?
There's no reason injection should take more than 10 secs.
To load. not inject.. and a slow inject has it's own advantages, esp. when using a heavy product.
Ah austinite.. try as you might, your attempts to demean me aren't really have the desired effect you were probably looking for.. and to be fair to myself, this is something I've just gotten into in the last few years.. THIS is all you have.
You should be less arrogant and realize that others have done allot more with their life then you cold ever possibly do with what you have left of yours. It may seem to you that your a big fish in this pond, but really in the face of what I've done with my life, in the grand scale of real life... your a joke son. But don't let me deter you from your comfortable, albeit myopic view, of things..
Fuck all yall bitches . Jk Austinite <3 .
I dont think you could get away with 1/2inch unless you are contest lean. I draw with an 18 ga and switch to a 25 for my injections. Not bad at all. Usually takes about 20 secs per ml and I leave the pin in for an extra 10 secs or so to let the oil disperse if I do not Z track.
Been thinking about something - Do I really need a new draw needle every injection? I am not worried about the stopper tearing up since a vial only last 5 pins max. I was thinking of just leaving that 18 ga in a medicine bottle full of isopropyl . I personally dont see how any contamination could occur, but since they are only 25 cents each I have been switching them out. Thoughts?
