Id love to hear your theory on that.

Well, from what I understand, clen raises body temp via the secretions of the adrenal gland. Generally speaking, epinephrine in and of itself does not burn fat. It makes the process of burning fat much, much easier, but physical activity is still necessary. Since this window of opportunity only lasts a few hours, sleeping 8-9 hours would basically negate the effects of the clen. At least this is how i understand it. The method mentioned prior to this post, would possibly be beneficial for helping someone loose water, but as for actual fat loss, I'm not sure.

The only problem I see with that theory is that since the active life of Clen is longer then a full day, at some point or another, even if the clen was taken in the morning, you still have to sleep.

From what I gather, your theory basically is saying not to take clen before bed because the clen is only active for the 8-9 hours that you would then be sleeping after you administer the clen. I believe we may just have two different schools of thought with regards to clens effective life in the body.

I can tell you that I ran the theory of taking Clen right before bed by hhajdo and he basically explained to me that since clen's effects are active in the body for more then 30 hours (I cant remember exactly how many hours it was but I know the number was greater then 30) of last administration, that taking it at bed would be no different from taking it at night. Of course, I am no expert so if some of what I have said is incorrect, then please feel free to correct it. My real only reason for taking clen before bed is to avoid the tremors and it seems to keep me away from the clen headaches too. But thats because I got to a point where the tremors were a very non-desirable side effect for me and also the headaches seemed to get worse everytime time I ran another cycle of clen.

I definitely do not promote it anymore since a couple members tried it and couldnt fall asleep most nights and thats not productive in terms of what we are ttrying to achieve by using what we are using. But for me personally, the before bed method works very well as I avoid most the sides because I sleep through them and still get the regular fat burning effects that I have had with clen when I used to take the tabs in the mornings.

Sorry, I haven't been here in a while. I think the basic area we are disagreeing on, is the compounds half life vs. it's active life. I'll give an example. Creatine has a half life of 30 days post ingestion, however you do not keep seeing gains from creatine 30 days after it's usage is discontinued. I feel clen is similar to this. As far active life is concerned, I do not have and solid #'s, but I would think it is under 30+ hours. As always, i could be completely wrong, but I have to say, this is a very interersting topic to me.

wow.. 2 of the best minds i know debating clen... I LUV IT!!! please.. anymore information, research, opinions.. KEEP them coming!!!

xoxo

Clen is a direct B2 agonist, it doesn't require NA release (like ephedrine) to stimulate lipolysis.... Its half life is quite long (about 36 hours) so the active life is actually much longer...

Also, administering adrenergic agonists like epinephrine prior to exercise can actually decrease fat oxidation during exercise because it stimulates glycogenolysis...

Pharmacokinetics of plasma and urine clenbuterol in man, rat, and rabbit.

Yamamoto I, Iwata K, Nakashima M.

Therapeutic dose (20, 40 and 80 micrograms/man) of clenbuterol hydrochloride, a beta 2-adrenergic stimulant, was orally administered to healthy volunteers, and theunmetabolized drug in plasma and urine was determined by enzyme immunoassay. The plasma levels of clenbuterol reached the maximum value of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.35 ng/ml, respectively, in a dose-dependent manner within 2.5 h, which lasted for over 6 h after the administration. The half-life of clenbuterol in plasma was estimated to be about 35 h. When the drug was orally administered repeatedly to men twice a day, the plasma level reached the plateau within 4 d after the initial administration....
