50ml vial of prop, leakage

Hey everyone, I searched but never seen anything regarding my question. So if had a 50ml vial of prop,

My question is, I like to inject prop at 75mg ed, so that would mean putting a 20g pin into the vial 70 times. Anyone have any problems doing this and not it resulting in any leaks?

thanks

Nothing wrong with 20ml. but it's only 20 time 21 time ( 21g for me)

I guess I could draw with a smaller pin to be sure. I only got about 15 20gauge pins left and then I got to buy more anyhow.

Still interesting though, never seen many discussions on this. I dont think alot of people get 50ml vials it seems

yea man, 50ml's is quite the big papa of vials. a dude tried to sell me 100ml vial of test e one time, thats the biggest ive seen. i draw with an 18g i just make sure i keep my vials head up bc they will leak if on their side, and i always wipe the top with an alcohol pad before i draw in case any shit got on the rubber.

Yea, its quite the beast

See thats why i asked, sure I could stand them up, but in order to get into my little lock box i have I got to lay them down

Smaller the gauge smaller the hole.......thats the way to go bro.

haha, with that pic in his avatar I would hope he knew that. Just weird how it works that way, total paradox from traditional thinking

I have never in my days had a problem with the rubber getting that worn out that it leaked. This is a first , but then if it's a ugl using cheap vials I guess it could happen:dunno:

I always transfer my gear from 50ml or 100ml to 20ml vials. If not, ill have a piece of rubber floating in the gear at some point.

I've had issues with the rubber stopper and 20G pins, even with pharmacy-purchased vials.

I currently draw with a 22G and now I've started to just inject with the 22G. I very much dislike how long it takes to draw up with a 22G, even after warming my vials up in the microwave.

I managed to make it through with a 50mL and 20G pins at a time though. I did get some small bits of rubber in the vial and I even at times draw up the rubber into the syringe, but when you inject the rubber never went out through the pin. It would kind of just float there and after I was done injecting, the rubber piece would be sitting there in the .2mL of oil that you can't push out of the syringe.

Same here, if there is some rubber floating around, have no fear, just you a fltered needle to draw with. THough sometimes they are hard to come by, just ask a nurse that works at a hospital if you know one to get ya some. Oh and as for leaks, never happened even when I use to draw out of 100ml jugs.

wow 20g! i use 25g for ALL my shots and have never had a prob. takes anextra 30sec but thats probibly a good thing in the long run. i wouldent go lower then 23g 23g is ok too.

now i worry about going thru top tomany times thats why i wont use anybigger then 10ml. i mean i used 20ml 1 time but didnt feel comfy with how "holey" it was looking.

if you already have the 50ml then i guess atleast use a 25g so the holes are smaller i think that should help.
or grab 5X 10ml steril empty viles and fill each one up.

long story short I would worry also.

23g is so small. I draw and poke with 22g and I like it. Pinning with a 22g was a bit to get used to. Fucker is huge compared to 23g. You have to push it as you poke yourself, whereas I found the 23g to just break skin and go in like butter.

No matter what just remember not to draw and shoot with the same needle..

Physicians and nurses have been drawing and injecting with the same pin for many decades. When you inject, the needle isn't 100% sharp, so if you preference is to switch pins then fine, but it certainly isn't necessary.

Physicians and nurses do draw and inject with the same needle so that makes it the right thing to do, cause they are only suppose to if they are drawing from an ampule, not a multi dose vial, my wife is an RN and I just asked her. Needles cost on average 50cents, I just have a draw needle 22g that I use basically over and over again for about 4weeks. Also, using a dulled needle has a greater chance of causing scar tissue. If you take a few shots a week that can be important and when you get a shot from a doctor it is usually once in awhile so no worries about scar tissue.
