recovering from a slap tear in the shoulder so i can only do legs and cant hold a bar on my back for squats so this is the workout i have come up with and been doing for 2 months.

stats are:
21 yrs old, 5"11 165 lbs, 11% BF
ive been working on getting my diet in check and in 2 months have gained 10 solid pounds with no enhancements other than food. ~4 years of not so great workout experience and lost it all from this shoulder shit but since joining the site have learned a ton so far. any advice or critiques would be great. goal: get to 185~190lbs mainly legs, will be very slowly integrating my upper body throughout the year.

any advice or critiques that would help me out would be great.
thanks,
Mike

not everyone throw in some advise at once lol
gimme some pointers guys? is this a good workout plan?

to be honest, you misunderstood the concept of the 5x5. the 5x5 is incorporated on the big 3, squat/bench/deadlift.

as it is understood that the 5x5 is a bulk/strength/power program, it doesn't mean even supplemental workouts, ie leg extensions/bi curls/etc should be done 5x5 style.

i'd suggest going back to the 2x10 - 3x10 and so on. as so, more weights equals lesser reps, but that's just me i guess.

how is your program working out for you?

i understand its designed for the big three but since i can only do legs figured this couldnt hurt. ive only been doing it for 2 months so i cant guage it yet.
