6 weeks into TRT and nipples are hurting bad

As title states I'm 6 weeks into treatment. My protocol was for 400mg per shot per 14 days.. I know this protocol is retarded but there was no convincing my doc to change dose frequency in the beginning.. He claims this works for all his patients.. Anyways I started developing nodules under my aeriola area of the nipples and they became quiete painful.. I've had this happen once in the past during the a cycle so I believe the high dose shot brought it instantly back. I had an appt with my doc yesterday and his solution to the problem was cutting my test cyp dose down to 300 mg per 14 days. He is so against arimidex saying that he will prescribe it as a last case scenario . He claims it's a harmful drug. Just wondering if this will go away on its own or if an AI is needed to bring them down .. My doctors protocol is outdated which makes
Me question him

Your injection schedule is skyrocketing your E2 and giving you gyno. Its a terrible program. Get on a new one ASAP. Call us.

Hes giving u 800 mg a month....
Your estradiol is probably sky high...
U feeling irritable, anxious???
U must be retaining water....weight gain

tell him you want it weekly , 200mg ew and you are not everyone else.....
also an AI at this dose might be needed..
the doc needs to get off his high horse...

tell him you can just pin i at home if that is less stress on doc. but 400mg or 300mg every 2 weeks is a bit silly IMO.
I rec checking out IMT our sponsor here, they are good and will help you. pm them

has your doc even bothered to give you any blood work since starting? ( I assume not from this thread)
tell him you want blood work for hormone levels (estro AND test) ASAP...

400 per shot?? thats kinda crazy, your going to have mood swings on call at the end of each 2 weeks. Just because the half life is 13.5+days, does not means its pushing at full force that whole time. I would personally split it up between 2 shots a week at 100 per shot, making 800 per month or go to 125mg/per shot or 250 per week to tame the crazy one shot 2 times a month.. You need a younger Dr who reads, or do some of your own research OR talk to other TRT specialists.....

I haven't felt anxious, possibly a bit irritable but not much.. however i instantly gained about 12 lbs when starting. I want to say about 2- 3 weeks i weighed myself cuz i had been looking super bloated and to my surprise i was +12 lbs on the scale. Definitely have "moon face" syndrome. I just had my check up yesterday, which is when they cut my dose to 300 mg every 14 days due to the nipple sides i am experiencing. I feel like a broken record because i know the dosing frequency is dumb and repeadedly have said to cut dose in half and go weekly. I was originally only coming in every 3rd shot but now the doctor freaked out saying in the beginning i must go into the office every 2 weeks for my shot. I asked for blood and they insisted on waiting until my 6th shot, which will be another 6 weeks from now. Meanwhile my nipple continues to feel worse, and is swelling up. Unfortunately i am not able to afford IMT otherwise i would not hesitate to make the switch. My script for 2000 mg bottle only costs me 9$ right now and i pay a lot for insurance, so i have been looking around for other docs in my area but its not easy to find one with an opening that isn't 4 months away. I am debating ordering research chem Arimidex to do away with the gyno developing because its becoming more and more uncomfortable. I was so releaved to finally been treated, but now my doc is stressing me out!

Get some Adex or something to drop that water, you'll gain 10lbs in 4 days on those kinds of shots. Un real the way old dr's think..... They need to be updated!

Request to inject a home... I HIGHLY doubt he can refuse that.

I believe I read about a lawsuit against a company that forced their patients to come into the Physician Office for an injection... in-office injections are not mandatory to the best of my knowledge.

Do you have possession of the vial?

Yes I do however I believe I must see my doc in person to get refill scripts ? Also, I much rather do self injections at home. Is this true they cannot force you to come in? This doc is an hour away from me and going to him every shot is an annoyance

does any members know of any docs with up to date TRT protocols in the NJ area? One who accepts insurance

Where and who told you to do this cycle like this?

That is correct.

this is my TRT doctors protocol .. He just adjusted it to the 300mg shot on Monday when I went in for my 2 week check up... Which I want to stop having to do now that I know they cannot force u to come in for a shot .. Although they seemed stern on "having" to come
In routinely for my shot in the beginning

On the vials original packaging did it say there was no refills? On mine it says plainly and directly there are 5 refills available. Im paying cash so in theory i could pick up another vial anytime. Insurance slightly complicates things but i would swing by the pharmacy and double check if you haven't already.

Unfortunately it says NO refills :-/ it's gonna be a struggle getting this to work with this doc ... But i need to resolve it cuz my nips are seriously irritating the shit outa me

your doctor is lost. you should break the 300mg up into 150mg once per week. Thats the first thing. You also need Anastrozole (Adex) ASAP.

From the discussions I've had this far splitting up a dose, and arimidex isn't an
Option for me.. So what should I do? I'm lost, I've been researching trying to
Find another doctor with a TRT background/focus and can't find any.. It's hard to find just a regular endo or urologist in this area surprisingly... I'm traveling from southern jersey to NY to see this guy currently so reporting every 2 weeks for an injection is a total annoyance ! I called today to make an appt to have another conversation about his protocols but I was told
He left for
Vacation and won't be back
Until late February and has his nurse practitioners available ... -_-
