6 weeks vs 12 weeks. Which is better???

Which is why holding onto gains longer doesn't change the rate of muscle decay.

Off topic- didn't you take some logic and philosophy courses in your day? It's showing when you said fallacy :p

the two do not insist upon each other dre... we are saying holding on to gains longer that isn't past your bodies natural genetic potential makes it more likely you hold on to those gains when you cut..

your trying to bridge a big gap here buddy

and i argue that if you had taken more time to hold on to that weight you would come in heavier after your cut

That's my whole point, I've kept most if not all my muscle and what I've lost has been most if not all fat. The only way I'd come in heavier after the cut is if I held onto more muscle mass and I've held onto 99% of it. I don't have the means to even measure such minute changes without a bod pod or Dexa scan. If, and I only say if lol, I could've kept more gains by holding onto them longer I still would've started cutting when I did. I did not feel good at 220lbs. Also I want to compete in powerlifting in the 93kg class and 94kg class for Olympic lifting.
