60 lbs in 5 months

Hey everybody I'm starting this thread to basically get some advice on how to lose weight I'm currently about 175 last time I checked and I'm 5'1. I used to weigh 140 at my lightest when I joined the military. I went through a really bad year and I ended up leaving the military. During that depressing year I gave alot of weight in a very short time. I've always thought about using steroids but I haven't had any guidance , I know they can be used safely which is what I'm looking to do. I'm afraid of them making me fatter or getting fake ones. Do I have to lose weight before I used them or can I start my weight loss journey while I'm using them If so can someone help me with a diet , a workout regime , and maybe the correct way to use steroids for weight lost. Any advice will do thanks!
 
Steroids won't help you drop your body fat, this is done through diet and exercise. Cardio 4-6 times per week, lifting 3-4 times a week, high protein/moderate carb diet with a good amount of healthy fats. Whats your diet like now?
 
Yep diet and cardio. Although I can stay trim with no cardio but it means doing alot of full
Body programmes!
 
My diet is non- existent . I want to educate myself alot better before I start so I want injur myself or damage my metabolism. I'm looking for some advice so I can build a solid foundation that will follow me for the rest of my life. But right now I'm not doing anything , but educating myself.

Sounds like u had a really tough year, sorry to hear that. The important thing is that you're taking the first step to a healthier life.

Steroids won't help u at all, I agree, u have to learn how to get your diet in check & start an excercise program. The ideal thing would be to do 30 minutes of moderate intensity a few days per week, there is no set level a person should begin at, do what feels comfortable for u.
You can start by walking for 20 min, then u can start increasing the duration once u feel comfortable. You can include strenght training once your ready.

A good diet is essential, you need to know how much your eating now, u can start loging in everything u eat, u can go to (fitday.com)
there u can log in all u eat & it will tell u how many calories your eating. Then u can find out how much you should be eating & take it from there.

I think 3J has a holiday sale on right now. If you're looking for a diet plan, that might be your best option. Starving yourself is no way to lose weight, and it wreaks havoc on all of your body's systems, including your metabolism. A steady calorie deficit paired with a proper training program and cardio is the way to go, some find carb cycling helps, also.
