This has always been a topic that has interested/concerned me. I've brought it up to a few gentlemen I know who run cycles and have done time, but the timing never fell where it would have been an issue. So, I'm interested to see if any of you gentlemen have experience with coming off a cycle in prison, or even more complicated, adjusting off years of blasting and cruising behind bars.
I do know how easy it is to get scripts (at least in Canada) for just about anything behind bars, probably over 75% of the people on my unit were getting various Meds from the doctor, and the process to get them was nothing. Guys want to get high or get daily currency, ask to see the doctor, list a few symptoms, bam, excellent customer service with daily delivery. The doctors who make their passes in our institutions write scripts like there's no point in arguing it. I wonder if this would be a similar case with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? Coming off AAS without proper medication is a health concern. I've also considered the option of getting a script for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on the outside just encase one was to do time... they have to respect prescriptions previously written by other doctors and provide such "medications".
