m having scars on my shoulders and oon my back ,lower back hip
it look very bad and i feel very shattered because of this...i was taking antibiotic for acne but acne gone but scars left..
how can i get rid of them plz help me

dark spots scars take forever to go away, some creams might help a bit.

best thing to do is hit the MT2 and tanning salon.

The skin on your back is the thickest skin on your body. It will take a while to heal. Try exfoliating when showering with one of those coarse back-scrubbing brushes.

Actually there is thick skin and thin skin. Thick skin is found on the soles of your feet and the palms of you hand. The rest of your body has thin skin.

The dark "spots" left behind after acne are NOT scars, they're temporary alterations to skin color pigmentation and usually disappear within a year or so (depending on the severity of the acne, location, etc).

Tanning is the easiest way to help "blend" the pigmentation with the rest of your skin, this basically hides the marks more than actually treating them - useful if they're effecting your confidence.
You just need to remember that the marks are TEMPORARY, don't let them effect you!

Now if you had real scars, this would be a more difficult, if not impossible situation, but thats another topic entirely :)

Is indoor or outdoor tanning really bad for you?

Unless its spray on its extremly bad for you, you do need a bit of sun but so many people die each year from melanoma, its pretty scary bro ive had a lot of people around me have to get moles removed and they were avid beach tanners and sun bed users and it put them off it completely

Tanning and mt2 makes mine not very noticeable. My back and arms were covered with acne before I got on accutane.

For me a low dose (20mg a day and then 20mg twice a week for maintanance) worked wonders with barely elevated liver enzymes and not much in the way of sides. 80mg a day taken in high school was hell on my liver and sides were horrible but it worked.

Cheers for the advice, ill have to look into it.

sun is GOOD for you, excessive tanning or sun is bad..
1-2 tans in a bed a month i would not worry. 5 days a week I would...

i rec some tanning to OP also.

avoid accutain its some of the harshest dirtiest drug ou there, should not even be on market IMO. you canb have fucked up sides YEARS after you stop taking it. avoid that crap OP, I have dont ALOT of research into that one and its very nasty...

my worry is side effects years down the road... look into them. while on it its not as much a worry if you keep eye on liver/blood, but its the sides ona genetic level that worry me. not worth is IMO

Both myself and my brother used accutane approximately 6 years ago, we were both lucky no elevated liver values and very little sides. However I know of an ENT specialist who told me he used it about a decade before i ever did, a very harsh protocol similar to blast and cruise but with accutane.. It left him with baby soft skin all over. Insane how soft his skin is now. But that was when the drug first hit the market and nobody really knew that huge doses would have permanent/bad side effects.
