Advice when drawing from two different vials?

Okay so for some reason no matter whether i draw from my Test or Deca first the second draw is always hard.

The oil comes in super smooth on both vials if it is done first but i have to pull very hard on the syringe to get the oil out of the second vial. I have even tried drawing air into the syringe after the first vial draw then pushing the air into the second vial to help the oil come out easier and it doesnt help.

I hope this makes sense because its so annoying having to draw the oil out like this.

I always have used a different pin for each draw.
I was taught to switch pins after drawing to a new pin for the sake of having a sharp point.
Sharp = less pain in the ass, literally!

THe second draw might be harder because the pin itself may be restricted by a slight bend in the tip.

I do use a seperate pin when injecting. I am only refferring to drawing the oils out of the vial into the syringe.

I draw 1ml of test and 1ml of deca for each pin but the second vial i draw from takes me forever to draw the oil into the syringe.

I have to pull very hard to get the oil into the syringe, injecting is fine though the oil is smooth and i dont have to push hard at all.

You should always pull as much air into the syringe as you are going to draw....

ie: draw your 1ml of Deca then draw another 1ml of air, dump the air in the Test vial carefully, then draw 1ml of Test...

Voila, that should be 2ml of Test/Deca mix with no draw issues whatsoever...

You could have negative pressure in the second vial (vacuum). Try pumping a couple cc's of air into it. Everytime you draw, you should be pushing the same amount of air in first so the vial doesn't become a vacuum.

Thats what i was trying to say in the first post. I do use this method but even when i draw 1ml of test/deca and 1 ml of air then push 1ml of air into the next vial of test/deca it doestn seem to help draw it out any better.

I do this though. I understand what you are saying and i do use this method but for some reason it doesnt help.

Try pumping air into both vials before you draw anything from either of them. Prime them so to say. Give them a good 2-3ml of air.

Drawing with 22g can be tough. I have tried them all and I find 20g is the best. It is easy to drawnwith but does tear gigantic holes in the topnof your vial.

I've always had my draw needles separate in the bag with each compound than use the fresh one to pin for every, been thinking of better ways to do it, I'll either get blends from now on or order empty vials and pre mix them

I have used some oils that have a solvent or something that makes the plunger on certain syringes swell and makes it difficult to move the plunger. So that would make it harder by the time you got to the 2nd vial.

So do you mean it's harder to move the plunger, or the plunger moves the same but it takes longer to fill the barrel?

This is how all nurses and techs I've watched do it. It's really much easier than using a half full syringe to inject the air, plus you don't create any unintentional "blends".

Also every now and then I use the 20 gauge needle I've just removed from the syringe to vent the vials. No matter how careful I am, I always seem to end up with some pressure or vacuum in the vials.
