Not nearly enough. Abuse in my opinion is ignoring risks to achieve a desired result. A person that abuses cocaine does so without taking the risks into consideration or ignores them as they have a goal of getting high. A person that abuses AAS is one that ignores the risks and seeks the goal of obtaining a certain body image they have in their mind. Anything can be abused (food for example), the big difference is when one acknowledges these risks and takes steps to be as safe as possible and level headed enough to know when to
stop using the drug/substance/item. Blood pressure pushing 190/100? STOP THE AAS. Having heart palpitations and getting terrible anxiety? STOP THE STIMS. Reaching 40% body fat? STOP EATING SO MUCH FOOD.
There are obvious exceptions to these, but it's really being able to stop what you're doing when the risk versus reward is no longer favorable. You're either suffering from a mental illness or an idiot if stopping when death is imminent or permanent damage is on the horizon. That's the difference between use and abuse in my humble opinion.
