I am waiting on humalog to arrive to begin using post workout. Should I use it to cover more meals during the day? Is once a day the way to go? Got the protocol from this site's profiles. Just want to be safe and not become insulin dependent or get fat! Any advice is appreciated.

Just a bump to see if anyone out there knows anything about this stuff. I understand pop w/up to 10iu post workout and cover immediately w/some carbs 80% complex and 20% simple. Then eat meal at 1 hour after injection. Humalog will be out of system within a total of about 2 hrs. Don't over do the fats with the meal. Should be great for recovery and growth. What about additional meals? Or is once a day enough. Sure could use guidance. Thanks.

I use insulin frequently during cycles, Humalog. For the most mass you should use humalog 3x per day. I can only use 6 to 7 iu's cause im really sensitive to insulin. The more in your system for the longest time possible will cause significantly more gains in muscle and fat. Take Humalog after you eat and give food some time to digest as it kicks in fast. I love how it fills up the muscles and makes you look huge. and you know your muscle are being generously feed. it also stops muscle catibolism instantly after a workout. Great for mass but watch your asss as humalog creeps up fast man!

I can only do postworkout shots, max 3 times a week, or i loose insulin sensivity and start gaining fat. 2x a week, get me the best results during pct.

Please reserch, before you start, and go with pwo first to see how you handle.

Dont be stupid and die!!

Thanks GFL and mikea. Will be careful and start w/2iu post workout and increase to tolerance. GFL 3x per day is eo meal? I will eat covered meals that are very low fat to avoid excessive fat storage. Is this a good assumption? Mikea how did you detect your loss of sensitivity? Dumb question but I want to be as aware as possible for negative effects. Don't want to fuck up a good thing trying to make it better. Really appreciate ur help!

Be very careful. insulin can kill you if you don't use it right. Post work out is all that is really helpful. Not too many people need it while on cycle. You'd need to over 300 lbs to need it while on cycle.

DPR I am on cycle cyp and tren for 14 wks, anadrol for 4 wks only mid cycle. Will begin cutting for contest in mid May. Currently weigh 210 lbs. Was hoping this would help w/mass and recovery. 5 day splits w/ 3 additional wo per wk w/trainer. Should I use it only after first workout of day or both? Tks man for the help.

Last Friday received Humalog. Sat morning workout and used 6iu PWO. 15min in began to feel sides and downed 60gr carb shake. At 1 hr began to feel rebound and at full breakfast egg whites and oatmeal. At 2 hrs in had another rebound and drank a protein shake with some carbs. The rest of the day was w/o any other sides. Waited Sunday and Monday morning PWO used 10iu. Followed same protocol w/same sides occuring at precisely same times. Did not use on Tuesday. Wednesday morning PWO used 10iu. Followed same protocol only this time did not have the second rebound at 2 hrs. Is this because my body is becoming acustomed to the insulin? Or is it something else? Anyone have similar experience? BTW the fullness felt great after the insulin and eating. Don't know if it is psychological or physical but seemed like the muscles felt fuller and tight after the insulin and carbs. Only negative was for the next day had a smoother appearance. Once again, maybe a coincidence with other factors. Help me out here, please.

I'm 50 yrs old first used the gear 24 yrs ago and continue to this very day .... never had a problem. I've done medical research for 20 yrs for companies throughout N.A. and Europe. I don't claim to know much but what I do know I know well. Insulin for BB purposes scares the hell out of me. Please be careful! That said, best of luck with the contest.

Tks Xtreme and jimj. I understand your concerns. I have looked at slin off and on for over 5 yrs. Over time watched others use it successfully. We all know there are great failures w/slin. All of it due to user ignorance and abuse. Insulin is the most anabolic hormone in the human body. It is cheap and readily available. As to what it does if used properly here is a quick explaination:

"Insulin is a peptide hormone, secreted by the pancreatic islets of Langerhans. Insulin promotes glucose utilization, protein synthesis, and regulates the metabolism of sugar. Insulin travels until it reaches receptor sites on cells. At these sites insulin facilitates the transport of glucose and amino acids across the cell membrane to be used inside the cell for energy and protein synthesis. This is insulin's anabolic effect, not only in super-saturating the cells with nutrients, but also helping to volumize the cell."

That said, let me hear from those whose experience has been positive. I want your knowledge. My first 3 PWO uses have gone textbook w/sides and protocol timing being spot on w/all research and feedback.
