Am I eating too many egg whites?

If your blood pressure is fine I would not worry about it. I eat 3-6 whole eggs every day.

Whites have a good ammount of sodium when you add up that many. I think it's about 55mg per white.

WHAT!?!!!? But they come right out of the egg, and I eat the eggwhite right away without the yolk, and I dont add salt!

How can there be salt in it?!?!?

You don't like whey?

Not really.

I really need to know if there is sodium in a natural eggwhite straight from the shell, without the yolk, and no added salt.

Please let me know, and a link would be nice to prove it.

Thanks.

But why? Im using eggwhite instead of protein powder, and protein powder has salt added to it so its worse.

I ate 32 egg whites for 2 months everyday. Do you think it could have raised my blood pressure? I have normal blood pressure, but do you think it raised it?

I quit the egg whites. I going ot get a whey isolate when I find one that I agree with.

Depending on your size and your bodies way of handling sodium, you may be perfectly fine. The RDA shit for nutrients is just about useless for people like us. 32 may be a bit high, but a dozen whites a day is a great way to get some really high quality protein.

Your liver manufactures cholesterol, dietary cholesterol does NOT have an impact on it. Infants have been placed on diets equivalent to 40 whole eggs per week with no change in cholesterol.

The ONE rule of thumb you must follow is to not cook your eggs in an iron skillet with the yolk touching iron.

Your liver manufactures 95% of your cholesterol and it is primarly made from sugars and other high GI carbs, in other words the bullshit that humans added to their diets when we stopped being hunched over and started using a motar and pestle. When we fucked with nature we fucked ourselves.
