american vs canadian rant

I personally think living in America Is total b.s., plus the fact the states makes no sense to me using aas, like the shit is illegal unless u are prescribed for trt, here in Canada it's legal for personal use, just not dealing the shit, how he fuck can Ronnie Coleman that works for the police force get away with using gear and others in the states get nailed for 1 to 2 viles unless prescribed, so much b.s. in the states glad I am a Canadian

That's a very good question. AAS use is rampant among law enforcement in the states. One of my buddies at my strength and conditioning gym is a cop. He's in his late forties and he's vascular as goddamn and just rippling like hell(def gear). Awesome guy too. It is pretty stupid, sometimes when i look around and see my fellow american i can't help but agree with the illegality of AAS, as much as i'm against it. You have all those dumb kids you see comin around here saying they can't get their dick up cause they ran some cycles when they were 12. Legal or not, the people are going to get it. Guess you might as well tax it they are doing with Marajewanna. I think i heard some where that in the U.K. It's illegal to sell but legal for personal use.

Same with Canada, legal to use for personal use but not to sell, I know that for a fact a few years back the cops searched my bag and found 2 viles of test, they didn't charge me they just took away my alcohol, I was actiing pretty stupid and they checked my bag, charged me for beige drunk in public but nothing for the gear, ask them why, they stated not against the law for personal use he're in Canada, the states obviously is dif

It's just plan stupid like Coleman isn't juicing but works in the law enforcement but can charge other people for having gear, stupid shit, like Arnold same shit governor and was previous on juice in his days too, wouldn't be surprised if he still juices for his new upcoming movies he's in lol

It's simple. Laws here in the US are greatly influenced by lobbyists. (Think legal bribery) As there are huge firms that lobby for alcohol and tobacco, they are legal and offered pretty much everywhere. If there were large companies that had a vested interest in AAS or other drugs (cannabis for example), I'd bet they'd be on store shelves at your local grocery store just like tobacco/alcohol. As politicians aren't having their palms greased, and law enforcement DOES make money from them being illegal - you can see why the laws are the way they are.

It doesn't help that correctional centers are becoming heavily privatized as well; meaning they make more money from having more prisoners. I can only imagine how they would benefit from having a politician (like California) or two in their pockets could benefit them. I love my country, but I hate the greed and corruption that is destroying it.

Agreed, strange laws in he states man, like Coleman on his videos on YouTube on his daily job beige a cop shows him going into a house and arresting a guy for marijuana, think it's a joke when he is doing no better for using something so called illegal in he states but gets away with it
Why I have no respect for cops and Coleman, he's a big dude, big BB but also 2 faced as well

What an ignorant thread and post. How old are you? Tell us how many people you know that have personally been arrested for gear, and how much did they possess?

I know MANY people who use gear and not one has ever been arrested, so this theory you have of juiced up cops running around arresting all of us gear users is retarded. Most of the AAS related arrests being made are labs for distributing, not a dude who's possessing for personal use. Cops rarely give a fuck about AAS users because most of us are middle class, and using behind closed doors to try and better ourselves. How are they going to catch you using AAS is you have it shipped to your house and pin your gear every other day in your bedroom? They arent. They dont. Small possession arrests are rarely made. Most of the arrests involving a couple vials would have to do with sales at a local gym.

You're saying cops who use gear and arrest other drugs users are no better than them. How can you compare AAS use to heroin, crack, meth use? Are you no better than the crackhead user who is out committing burglaries to feed his addiction simply because you also use an illegal substance? Get out of here bro. Cops get paid to do a job, it's that simple. What they do in their personal life has no effect on them getting paid to enforce the law. If a cop speeds off duty, is he not allowed to write you a ticket for speeding? This thread reeks of immaturity and this "i hate cops" attitude is ridiculous. You'll be the first one to call them when something goes wrong.

And for those of you saying that law enforcement makes money off of steroids being illegal, id like to hear that explanation. If that's the case then why did the DEA oppose the Anabolic Steroid Control act in 1990???

I don't doubt he uses gear for his movies. Sly does the same thing and they are buddies. I don't see why you have anything against Coleman though. Like i said, AAS use is HUGE in law enforcement in the USA. Some cops you can tell just by lookin at em. Hell one time i almost asked a cop what compounds he was running, haha.

Hmm, I spent a whopping 30 seconds on Google to find an example:

State prosecutors tell Eyewitness News that in any given year, 1,200 to 1,400 raids occur, with an average seizure of $500 cash. But they can also be larger - much larger. A recent raid netted $85,000 in cash, according to police.

The drugs that are seized are usually destroyed, but the cash and property seized can ultimately end up being used by the police departments that seized it.

In 1989, the state of Connecticut enacted the Drug Asset Forfeiture Law, which means 70 percent of every successful forfeiture goes back to state and local police, 20 percent goes to the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for to fund drug treatment programs, and the remaining 10 percent helps underwrite the cost of prosecuting such cases.

What were you saying again?

Need more?

How about:

You can read about where it goes from here.

Are you referring to the addition of anabolic steroids to the controlled substances act of 1990, which was passed in 2004? (It basically removed the need to prove they added muscle mass to their definition.)

I do agree with you that there need not be bashing against police, but to insinuate that LE doesn't make money from keeping drugs illegal is just asinine.

Like halfwit said; lobbists run the country by proxy for the Corporations. But fear not matt, Harper is already fully ensconced in what passes for lobbists up here.. be thankful it's only multimedia giants and primary resources that are on the table 95% of the time.

It all started with Ben Johnson (Canadian) and Carl Lewis (American). You can google the story, but long story short, American Olympic loser chastises Canadian winner. IOC kicks Ben's ass off the top spot for AAS, hand it to Carl. Carl cries to congress. Studies performed...showing no reason to schedule AAS. Congress does it anyway. Years later Carl's sorry ass gets caught on AAS.

If anyone is interested in an awesome documentary--"Bigger, Stronger, Faster" will shed some light on this topic. It was directed by Mark Bell's (famous powerlifter) brother.
