Pm me if the answer is yes. Love their products but something's up with the payment system lately. Have contacted them directly and he said they are walking to resolve the issue. Would like to use them still if possible bc shipping is so timely.

My wife tried to score mt2 and my card was declined twice. Saying to tell my bank to let the transaction go through.

Trying to get the 30% but tonight is the deadline...

I don't know how specific I can be, but I'll say that banks either have your payment method allowed for certain destinations or they don't. You have to call them to indicate that the charge is not fraudulent for it to go through.

Hopefully that makes sense to those that are currently stuck. :)

Called my bank earlier twice. They said there was no hold on their end and that the problem lies with the website i was trying to purchase from

I went to check out -- getting an "error 502 - bad gateway". Appears to be their site (or whoever hosts their cart) -- not my ISP.

Same problem, called three times. This damn frustrating. I used Rui at least five times in the past, same card, bank and acct. Problem is not on my end.

My card company said the charges do not match(but didn’t say this was the reason for the transaction failure), something about exchange rates.

It wouldn't be a hold, some banks do not allow purchases from places outside their residing nation (trying VERY hard to be vague, yet informative) . You have to ask them if your card can be used for trips abroad (like a vacation in Mexico for instance), or if it would be declined automatically. If it's disabled for such activity, they have to switch it on.

This is exactly what I had to do. Once my debit card was authorized for purchases made abroad my rui orders went right through with no incident what so ever. It was odd as I had used it for several years without issue but I am assuming rui switched credit card processing companies. After they did this their new one posted the charges as occurring overseas. Because of this I had to contact my bank, tell them I would be making purchases overseas, they "turned it on" as halfwit stated and viola, no troubles at all ordering.

I even went and put money on a pre load card and tried to buy that way. Same "bank may not be allowing" I called my bank also before that and they said no charges were showing. I figured the preload card would solve the issue but no bueno. As also mentioned earlier I've bought PLENTY OF TIMES before on a payment method that no longer works

Prepaid cards can't work as the address of the "owner" must match that of the "user". As you don't technically own the card, it won't have your address linked - denying the transaction.

RUI has moved their processing overseas, which your bank has to switch on for your debit/credit card to work as they see this as an automated fraudulent charge. The system some banks use will not flag this, it's just an auto decline. You literally have to speak to customer service and have them enable purchases for transactions of this nature.

I really don't know how else to be vague and helpful at the same time. :( If you want more details, feel free to pm me Ozzy.
