Anyone have any clips of BB Rows?

Product of Test
Ive finally gotten my compund movements down a little better. It's been taking a while threwout the yrs. It seems like just when you think your doing something right someone more advanced then you gives tips and you realize your not doing it right. At any rate I need help with my BB rows. It just never feels like Im doing them correctly. If anyones got clips or just some help would be great?

Thanx again

That is funny dude. I realize you are serious though. But this is why it stuck me funny. I always try to go heavy on my rowing, or I feel like I am not hitting my back at all. So it feels like my back starts off at about 70 degrees, not at 90. And then to get the weight moving at first I use my back a little, feels like I get up to about 50 degrees already. Then because it is really heavy it stops dead about 4 inches before hitting my chest.

But when I did a clip of myself doing them the angle was more like 80 degrees to start off, and I only came up a little at the start, it looked no where near as bad as I thought it looked, even how high I got the weight up.

Whenever I have tried to lower the weight to improve my form a bit more, I have to drop it a lot for a slight improvement in form. So I decided to find that magic weight where, the form is almost as good, feels very heavy, but if I go any heavier, I can feel the form really go down hill, and once again, I am then not maximizing the load on my back and bi's.

Because of all of that I do 1 arm supported rowing too after barbell rowing.

Kind of a just for fun reply, not sure if it is worth too much.

Just saw the bent rows with 405. It looks like Im coming up to high on my abdomen and it needs to me on the pelvis almost realo low on the stomach. I also take an underhand grip which I imagine doesn't matter?

under hand is one variation. they are called yates rows. i prefer overhand but it dont really matter.

i wear a lever belt, i pull til the bar taps the metal latch on my belt.

I have seen so many different ways to do this exercise, i do them off the ground explosively and back never really moves. i alos do them where on each rep i can almost touch the ground with my stretch and explosively pull to my chest and my back doesn't get real high. I see people who almost look like they are shrugging the weight, i guess it just depends on what you are trying to hit.

i have done them about every way i could think of and found the way i ended up with hit my back the best with out taxing my lower back too bad. i have done them at parallel to the floor up to about where im at now 40° or so. for me if i get much higher its more of half an upright row. it also seems to hit my back better coming low on the pull insted of high. but thats me and i rarely do them anymore. i pulled some last week and went up to 455. lost form on the last rep or two so it was too much weight. the key is which ever way you do them not to jerk the weight up. then you taking pressure of the lats and dumping it on the lower back, hams and legs to get the bar moving. i think t-bars are a better alternative if you cant hold form.

ohhh big deal hes better at one lift then me..
when you gonna quit being a Mo and put your metal's no and do some squatting????
:)

hahahahah.

I will do it when it fits in my training. I have been hitting things about the way i want to be. I am going to put together a 9 week DE wave from one of louis articles soon. I have my boss squat suit coming, i will probaby take a lift in that minus briefs, not my briefs. I also want to introduce chains into my benching next week. I have alot to do, maxing on my squat is not what i am looking to do right now. I should be pulling 600 soon, that is what i really want, and have for two years now. Bench seems to be coming along great, may order my shirt soon, maybe not. I honestly don't really want to get hung up with the equipment right now, just want to get stronger.
