do you think that i need more direct shoulder work for proepr shoulder development? some people swear that i need to do lateral raises in this routine... i just want to add good amount of mass, but also i want to have proportional growth (in reagard to bodyparts). what do you think?

In your routine pretty much everything has a compound movement and a isolation movement apart from your shoulders, maybe that's all they meant by it.

Personally I like Lat Raises I js vary from dumbbell to cables and maybe throw in some 21's to really wear them out.

I'm personally a fan of lateral raises and think they work great. As far as should you do them -- what do your shoulders look like? Are your front, side, and rear delts all proportionate?

Ur hitting ur posterior and anterior heads already . Nothing builds mass on the shoulders like ur overhead press's which ur already using. I would recommend that u throw in some lateral raises for ur medial head.

I've never seen someone with shoulders that were too wide.

Me either, however what happens with some is that they develop shoulder dominance over there chest/pecs. Not a huge deal to average joe, but if you are competing, it's something you need to keep an eye on. Remember...you hit your shoulders and front delts especially very hard when you do any form of pressing movement, including chest presses.

If you have shoulder issues, most of the time the injury can be corrected by doing Lat raises believe it or not.

Never heavy, and stay with high reps.

Agreed , i had that issue i had these fuking boulders and no pecs. took alot of work i havernt trained shoulders in 4 months and my pecs r only just starting to catch up to them

I love doing laterals for like 15 reps and then cheating some more....and a few more.... and just a couple more. HUGE pump in shoulders! And when i cheat i always try to bend over a little to get my rear delt to help because if anything rear-delts always need work anyways so why not!? xD

Be careful beast . Shoulders r not the muscle to b pushed to hard . take it from me ull snap shit up .

i have a partial tear in my shoulder . side raises to correct shoulder issues ?? go on

I don't know how bad your tear is.

Some issues can be corrected through lat raises and bent over rear delt flys...

Don't ask me how it works, but for some it really does help.

Always light... high rep.

I hear you on that, i actually really dialed down the intensity with laterals, at one point i decided to change the feel of the contractions and not as much weight it works just as good. But when i cheat i don't jerk like crazy i kind of just lean forward and pull back a little.
