Are steroids pointless for me?..please rspond

Okay OP, I'll give in and believe you. With that said, you must have some solid genes to be pulling and pushing that kind of weight at your age, and with that diet. So I can only assume you will get much better results with a proper diet and/if you choose AAS.

Dude seriously that squat is pathetic, especially benching 400 (if this is true). I promise you have a lot of room to gain in this area. Set a goal for yourself: you won't even consider AAS until you can squat more than you bench.

I know that sometimes there are special situations though, so I apologize if you only have 1 leg.

When I go to heavy I feel like falling forwards onto my face.

Any tips to fix this?

Keep the weight on your heels, deep breath into your stomach, chest up, eyes and head forward or slightly up, pull the bar into your traps, purse the air out at your sticking point, push your knees out as you drive up, and work on heavy ab movements.

Very well-put VM...great advice!

Also, forgot to mention get some construction boots/military boots or flat soled shoes. The last thing you want to do is have some running shoes with some real weight on your back. I squat barefoot, but that's only because my gym allows it.

Yeah definitely - love my Chucks! OP maybe spend some time working on these things with light weight and just try to do a perfect squat over and over and over (and over)...hammer home the neural pattern, so that it becomes second-nature.

May not feel very bad-ass with 135 lbs on your back while doing this, but it will be worth it bud.

You say you want to be a certain size/weight but that your lifts "wont go any higher." Your bodyweight has nothing to do with how strong you are, strength may help, but many bodybuilders are not as strong as smaller powerlifters - its not the same training, and not the same diet.

If you are as strong as you say you are, but so lost on diet and gaining weight, you have to be a very strange freak of nature.

I wear my work boots to the gym except on cardio weekends. Titanium toed and very sturdy. They've helped my squat immensely

ok thanks for the tips guys...I normally squat barefooted

Mudge what would you say I do as a routine to target more hypertrophy?

reps in the 8-12 range? for more sets?

Since today I have started to change my diet. Im adding in 2 protein shakes a day (50grams) 6 extra eggs for breakfast and grilled fish with vegetables for an extra snack.

and for when I am at school I buy a protein bar.
