Arimidex and energy

Does anyone have any experience running arimidex alone? I am currently using it to treat an issue with excess estrodial. My energy seems to be down the past few days... is that arimidex related?

thats not the best way to treat estrogen dominance. the only studies i know of are 12 weeeks long and say once fertility is reached the patient should be placed on HRT

I'm 26. My test levels average between 600-700 out of 800 at my lab. I dont have low test. My estro levels are not off the charts ( dont have the paper at the moment) but I am very prown to gyno. I have had 2 gyno surgeries already.

Also I am recovering from a shoulder surgery, as well as my last gyno surgery. I put on some fat, was on pain killers for weeks on end, stupidly drank ALOT...

Between all the booze, pain killers, lack of good sleep, and no exercise... My hormones have been all messed up.

did you test your T levels before or after the booze, pain meds and crappy diet?

either way i dont think you need Aromatase inhibitor (AI), especially if your T is in range

a couple of statistics for you, lack of sleep can lower your testosterone levels up to 20%, so once you get caught back up on your sleep some things should level out. Alot of times after periods of extreme stress on the body, your hormones are going to naturally be screwed up. However, this doesn't neccessarily mean that taking an Aromatase inhibitor (AI), SERM or even testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is right for you. That being said, if it has been a while since your boozed/drugged up recovery, then it could be something that needs to be done for you. Like the other person said, have you had your levels checked lately? or were those levels your past levels? If you are having low energy it could be that the arimidex is dropping your estrogen too low. People get too wrapped up in numbers sometimes. Even if your labs say "high" or "low" it doesn't always mean it's the right level for you, it just means that it is within the average of the levels that are tested in that lab. That being said, the symptoms of testosterone being too high are the same as they symptoms of testosterone being too low. If your levels of T are too high compared to your e levels then it could cause you to have lowered energy. Kind of why women can be so bitchy on their cycles or when they are pregnant, their test spikes.
