Sometimes when i workout, i get a serious cramp like feeling in the middle of my back, and it throws off my workouts dramatically. It hurts the most when i bench press though. I dont know what to do, im dieting, and im trying to do back exercises but im not too familiar with too many.
In the past 6 months, ive been working over 50 hours at work, and was eating nothing but fast food, and i gained over 45 pounds. Because of my job, i havent been working out much. The good news is that i quit my job about 2 weeks ago so now im trying to get back into shape.
Im seriously trying to get my old body back, but sometimes my back wont let me, please people, just throw any kind of suggestions.

Any help will be appreciated!!!

add taurine supplement. It will help with cramps. Also arnold's "encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding" for exercises. Important to set limits to avoid injury so lighter weight more reps to start then go heavier when cramping subsides also cardio to shed some weight and stay hydrated. Hope that helps, good luck!

I read this post before and thought it was muscle related, but upon a second inspection I'm wondering if you're having a rib pop out during your workouts. I had this a lot before and thought it was muscle cramping and it turned out my rib was constantly popping out and giving me sharp pains in my back. You can have someone manually "reset" it in your back pretty easily.
