back training

right now I'm on a cycle, but my question is, does anyone else hit back more frequently then the other muscle groups? I really get my best pumps from back training right now, and I find I can hit it twice a week no problem. I tend to do different exercises and a little lighter, more concentrated reps the second workout, but find my back is really responding well.
I've been at this for 25 years, but this is really something I've just started. the only thing I find is I have to use straps sometimes if my forearms or bis get a little sore.

it is hard to overtrain some muscle groups like legs and back while on cycle but I was just curious about opinions on this. thanks.

Back has always been my strong point in training and I enjoy it the most. I have never hit back twice in a week but then again I have never cycled before/yet lol, and have always been strict on taking enough days off to rest and recover. I'd be interested in hearing if your results increased by trainging back more than once a week.

If ur responding then keep going at it! I do deadlifts on back day and I don't think I could pull that off twice a week. Maybe train back 2 separate ways, like one day for thickness and another for width. I know that's how Ronnie trains his back and with a back like that it's hard to argue.

Prior to my first time training for BB, I thought that I had a decent back, but when I cut down it shrunk, so now my primary focus is on back every week. I use straps to keep my arms and shoulders out of it since they tend to want to dominate, I'll only hit them twice a week when I'm bulking, don't have the energy the rest of the time.

i LOVE TO KILL THE BACK I TRAIN IT ONCE A WEEK BUT REAL HARD MY SHIT IS FRIED FOR A GOOD 3 DAYS AFTER

maybe incorperate deads into ur leg workout , that way ur hitting ur back twice . STRETCH/SQUEEZE key to back development.

you could do what diced said, just make sure you're seperating back day and leg day by about 3 days. i'm fixing to have a max effort day and a dynamic day, so essentially everything will be getting hit twice a week, and i need to throw deads in with squats. nothing wrong with that. just know your limits, and you don't need to go heavy on deads every week. i would suggest going all out on deads from the floor once a month, the other three times try some speed work, or rack pulls. and remember to always squat before deadlifts.

I do something very similar and i am not on any cycle as well. 1 Day is Back Thickness meaning scapula retraction elbows out (Wide grip bent rows, wide grip t-bar rows, wide grip pull down and or deadlifts. The 2nd Day is LATS and everything is done squeezing the lats c lose grip pull ups/underhand grip bent rows/db rows/ any type of pull done with the elbows tucked in close, form is 100% critical on this though you cannot be doing your BS sloppy rows/pulldowns you have to be strict and hit what you intend to. It works too better than any 1x a week setup i did. You can pay a lot more attention to detail and weak muscle groups, rep speed is important too around 1 second concentric and 4 seconds + eccentric. If you are doing heav/ho style training you'll injure yourself trying 2x a week though simple as that. Started 3-4 weeks ago and never going back to 1x a week unless for a de-load or week break! Give it a shot!!

anyone who likes Ed Corney is ok with me...lol
I like what you're doing with your routine. I had no idea Coleman split his back training that way, but. I have done that for awhile now.i find I have more strength in my forearms., hands etc by splitting them up. even with straps I still do my thickening one day and width training on another....interesting though about Coleman.
I have found when I do a second back session in a week my back definition has improved drastically.
