Over the past few months I ve noticed that the outside of both calves from ankle to the start of my knees are damn near completely bald. Ive heard of this in older men but not in guys my age. Im only 23. I wear loose fitting jeans at work and shorts at home so no rubbing of the calves. I have good circulation in the legs, no heart problems.. Could it be low T? High E2? Could someone please help? Thank you.

Get a full blood panel done. Could be thyroid related, I believe hypothyroidism can lead to hair loss.

Damn.. would be just my luck lol..I dont have any other symptoms of hypothyroidism but I wont rule it out.. I'll see if the VA will do a full blood panel. I probably have to wait 3 months but its free so watever. thank you for the reply.

This thread is a little old, but here's my input. The exact same thing happened to me and then a few years later all the hair on my legs disappeared. The spot removal is rubbing of pants and for me the loss of all hair seemed to be attributed to circulation. I thought my circulation was fine because I had no problem running half marathons, but circulation is one cause of hair loss in the legs. Only my legs were effected.

well, in the part of friction thay're right, maybe your rubbing them against something witout knowing. It happened to me in summer when i was jet skiing, it was because i rided standing and the seat rubbed against my calfs xD
