Becoming a high level bodybuilder.....

I think you guys have already covered it...genetics (which encompasses bone structure, muscle bellies/shape, symmetry, hardness, responsiveness to training/anabolics), years of dedication to nutrition/training, massive quantities of GH/insulin/AAS year-round, and the willingness to take the associated risks and essentially live for bodybuilding.

i dont think anyone here really truly understands what it takes to become a pro.. i know and am friends with guys who compete in the national level.. it takes 10-15 years of anabolics and an amazing diet and workout routine to even think about the stage on that level..

yeah at 22 you have about 7-10yrs of hard core AAS use and a perfect perfect diet. than you **could** have a pro card.

Trust me if it was easier you'd see a lot more guys in the top ranks.....but getting there and knocking one off to get a spot for yourself is extremely hard.

I will agree with you that bone structure, symmytry, aesthetics are mostly a genetic factor. That being said, so is muscular development, but there is no drug that can really alter your structure the way aas can alter your muscular development.

Their are alot of guys like this....just phenomenal aesthetic structures...such as arnold, zane, haney, wheeler, dexter, freeman, wolf etc.....but their impressive muscular development is what really makes their proportions and aesthetics shine. I would argue that without their heavy use of anabolics....no one would even care about their "great" genetics.

Well said. :yesway::yesway:

Year round 2 grams or more a week, and great genetics. This doesn't just mean muscle but overall build, and crazy dieting, which will ensure almost no girl will stick around long because you spend more time with yourself than she does doing her makeup.

If you really really want it IMHO, you would never ask HOW, you would simply DO. Not at all a flame, it seems to echo in all arenas of life, those that want are DOERS even if they break shit (inventing the light bulb that lasts more than 30 seconds) along the way.

Broke ass, spending all your money on food/gear and all of your time cooking or working out and sleeping. Only a few break out and actually make dough, some with side businesses, but I'd venture those are the alpha males who never had to ask but tiny advice.

Have you ever seen a Pro bodybuilder in person? They are massive! Someone like Jay Cutler is like 5'9" and weighs 310 pounds in the off season, King Kamali that is 5' 10" and weighs 310 off season or Ronnie Coleman that is 5' 11" and steps on stage at 300 pounds! Do you think you can match these monsters? They will only get bigger in years to come.

I've seen a few and although "short," they are certainly filled out like hell. You only get that way from ridiculous levels of dedication, there are a few gifted individuals who may come "close" while partying here or there, but only the best who have almost no other life outside of the kitchen and gym will look close to a Cutler or Ronnie.

Ronnie had a day job, but he could eat pretty frequently, and seeing how fast he came up in the ranks he had great genetics as well as dedication.

I use to hang out at club Avalon in Boston around 2002. And Jay Cutler and Keri would be in there rolling there ass's off.He was huge looked like the michelin man big bloated .Now i see him and can't belive how much he has changed Disel.
