Hey Blackbeard.....Curious George here. I just decided to the shirt route myself. I just got my Karin yesterday and I can't wait to mess around with it tomorrow on DE day. I have to be careful to not kill myself so I can bench Wednesday.

Karin is really great. As a matter of fact she loves to talk to much, when you call her make sure you have some extra time. Her and Doug are awesome. She worked on my shirt to get it out even though they had the snow storm in Ohio and were without power for a week. They are awesome people. Ask her about her Dogs when you talk to her.

I'll shoot you a PM and tell you how it works tomorrow. I can say that I am very happy with it. I just place 315 on the bar yesterday to play and wasn't even close to touching.

One thing, she recommended to me that I get the closed back only because I am still moving my stroke lower. She said you can always send the back to get it cut, but you should learn the shirt first. If you normally bench close to the sternum or slighty lower, I recommend the closed back.....You can always cut it yourself when your technique allows you to push from a lower spot.

on a side note to you guys going the denim or canvas route on shirts. these measements are critical. the shirts are custom fited to match your body perfectly. send bad measurements and the shirt is not gonna work like its supposed to.

heres a perfect example of what one guy did. all measurements are to be takien cold and relaxed. so this is not a time to have an ego flair up. the guy measured after a workout. he was ashamed of his measurements so he added just a bit and flexed during measuring. his shirt was too big whe he got it and I told him it was too big. he said he would grow into it. he wasted his money. he got about 25lbs out of the shirt.

for the normal user those shirts will add 100-200lbs to your bench if fitted correctly and you learn to use it. learning to use it is very tricky esp if its open dd crawford cut.

karin has instructions on how to measure for all her gear on the website.

if you still not sure on measuring get an experienced lifter to measure you. the chest plate and sleeves are critical.

and for you guys who have never worn one find some plers who know how to bench in these shirts and let them teach you. you need three spotters who are versed as well. one spotter with his finger up his ass looking at babes is all you need to be seriously injured!! dont get macho and get your larynx crushed, ask for help. benching in dd is not a bench but an art form. trust me on this one.
