Best bang for buck bulking cycle

I slightly agree with noway55, I think gear is really underplayed in terms of potency. I think a guy fucking around in the gym 3 times a week, eating a slightly structured diet but using gear will bypass any natural training 5x a week with diet on point. It is just how it is.

Exogenous hormones is a huge deal! Also there is no such thing as DIRTY food? Does this mean you washed it? A carb is a carb, do you think your body can tell the difference bewteen 10 grams of carbs from a cookie to 10 grams of carbs from a potato? Aslong as protein requirements are set, your taking a multi than you can fit in whatever food sources for fat or carbs. I recommend nutrient dense food to meet the body's micro needs but fitting in a cookie or slice of pizza will do no HARM. We really need to stop classifying food as dirty or clean. A calorie is a calorie/

I suggest you read this; bodyrecomposition.com/research-review/hormonal-responses-to-a-fast-food-meal-compared-with-nutritionally-comparable-meals-of-different-composition-research-review.html

Yea your body can tell between 10g of carbs from a cookie from 10g of carbs from a potato, one will fuck up your insulin levels due to the fact that it is a processed sugar and make fat stick to you and the other one will help you replace depleted glycogen levels after a training without fucking up your insulin levels.

Dirty food in bodybuilder language is fatty protein
Clean food is lean protein. No bodybuilder that is serious about what he does will admit to pizzas or cookies unless it's that 1 cheat meal you are supposed to have during the week.

The amount of ignorance in this thread is tremendous.

Unless you are using endogenous insulin the glycemic index is basically worthless, whenever you add protein or fat the G.I goes down. Another thing that your credulous mind has yet to understand is that blood glucose and blood insulin are not only elevated my CHO but by anything you eat.

The glycemic index was determind by fasted individuals eating glucose - there is no relevance in this.

There is NO reason to think of the glycemic index!

Ignorance? I feel bad for you man, You have no idea about SIMPLE human biochemistry or physiology.

A starch, mono-sac, d-sac a carb is a carb you cant say one is different.

Cookies, every bodybuilders pre work out food. That processed sugar gives you an extra pump.

Edit: i will go take my ignorance to the gym and keep having awesome results while keeping my bodyfat in single digits.

Disagree. Broccoli, corn syrup, (nightshade) potatoes, whole wheat, and white rice are all "carbs."

They have very different effects on your body because of the carbohydrate density per volume and units of dietary fiber (undigestible carbohydrates) consumed. This is why we prefer sweet potatoes over white potatoes, why green vegetables are a great, filling source of carbohydrates, and so on. The other thing about lots of carbs is the presence of metabolic poisons like fructose and other fun stuff like gluten.

All carbs are not created equal.

No man you know nothing cookies are great for bodybuilders, so nutritious I eat a whole box before going to sleep I am 285 lbs and I take dbol and I know my shit

/sarcasm

This is correct. You can do alot natural, but it's 2x harder to acheive par results when compared to using gear.
agreed with this. assuming protein is fine and youre eating enough, the geared lifter eating "dirty" will outperform the natural lifter eating a "clean" diet every single time

of course eating a good diet while on gear is the best possible option

It's surprising to see how many biochemists we have here who all seem to know it best!:argue:

I have nothing to add as biochemistry is what I am studying at university and I actually hate discussing carbs more than anything.

Learn to eat clean and the bitches will come running. Word.

Do you see Conan the barbarian mowing down on a box of cookies? Hell no! He's tearing apart a whole chicken with his teeth! Conan cares nothing for carbs! Why are we even discussing carbs? I hate them if I could live on 100% meat I would! So would Conan! Lol :)
