Best place to buy used standard 10 pound plates?

Just on the odd chance anyone knows a decent supply of used 10 pound plates. Have old school dumbells I've inherited from 10lbs to 80s in 5-10 increments, but not near enough plates to have them all loaded. Have gone to "Play it Again Sports" down here and found about 12 that I've had to widen the hole by 1/8". I am set for universal weights (890 pounds, I'll never use them all at once) and the basic squat/bench rank but really love the possibility of finishing the home gym dumbells with the plates.

Ideas?

I used to buy stuff like that from craigslist. I recently sold off a lot of my old exercise equipment that I wasn't using, so I know people are active there. If you haven't taken a peek yet, it might be worth a shot.

Craigslist has been irritating the shit out of me, but it's probably me and my pickiness: I only want the standard 10 pounders and most Craigslist adds have a shload of other crap they want to push. I've got the 50s, 55s, and 80s done and all the other stuff below that, I guess I'll just be patient, and I might just sack some of the lower ones for to make the 70s. They try to sell new weights for about $1/lb before tax. Blech.

Figured someone might happen along who is a rep for CAP or knows someone etc. With the work and family schedule, having a full home gym is just too convenient for the 5AM cardio and 8pm lifts.

Yeah, that's the problem with going person to person. You might get lucky though, there are fellas here from all walks of life - and as this site fully fits into the fitness world, I can totally see that being possible. Good luck! :)
