Bicept growth....

Flash_Gordon

Loves you very much...
Nothing in the past seems to have helped my bis but now I'm working them 4-5 times a week either at the gym (barbell curls x10,15,20,15,10) with back day or doing 3x20 sets of 25lb dumbell curls at home. So far it seems to be helping with development.

Anyone else doing something similar to spur growth?? I'll keep this going till I plateau and then try something else to make them grow.

Do whatever works for you. For anybody I have ever known, training bis 4-5 times a week is just silly.

2 Times a week max IMO.

Just out of curiousity, i would like to know what you barbell curl and what you barbell row.

Hey this is a weight lifting fourum and not an english spelling correction fourum, so back off buddy!!

A few people are bound to laugh at you if you say that in public, whats the big deal?

Do bis once per week. Remember, if you lift heavy they get a lot of stimulation from your back workout. You don't want to overtrain, so keep it to once per week.

On an off note, I dumbell curled the 70's for 6 today. Not bad considering I am cutting and was already tired from doing chest :D

your bis need stimulation from very heavy weights that will come from heavy rows, the reason i asked the question above is i have seen guys curlng 135 for reps with no arms. They probaly could not row the equal amount of weight and reps though.

I used to only do 2-3 sets after my back workout and thats all I needed. I also had my tendons bugging the crap out of me so it was hard to do more on the same day after back.

Now I top out at about 6 sets, once a week. I've done overtraining programs in the past but I'm not 18 anymore.

Barebell curls maybe like 95lbs? Never really tried to max out in a while, I've been going more for med weight with higher reps. I get a better pump that way. I don't do barebell rows. Seated rows and machine T-bar rows.
