Blood work after test only cylce and OATMEAL

Supercharged

Mr. Homewrecker
Ok ladies and gentlemen. I've never done my bloodwork before now, but being I'm in my mid 30's now, and I've done a lot of gear over the past seven years, I needed to stop screwing around and have it done. My blood pressure has been borderline high in the past, but I did get that under control recently by eliminating as much sodium as possible from my diet, limiting my alcohol intake to moderate levels of red wine only, and by drinking lots of water everyday.

A heart attack killed my father (his second), and killed his father as well. Both of my dads brothers have had heart attacks also, one of which died from his second heart attack. Heart disease CLEARLY runs in my family.

This is about 2 months after a 400mg per week, 6 week test only cycle:

HDL 40 mg/dL
LDL 100 mg/dL
Total Cholesterol 163 mg/dL

I had an ECG as well which came back:
"SINUS BRADYCARDIA/NORMAL ECG"
Resting Heart Rate: 49 BPM

I'm not sure, as I didn't have my cholesterol checked until now, but....

About two years ago, I started to add oatmeal in EVERY protein shake throughout the day, everyday. I consume ALOT of oatmeal as a result.

While not absolutely certain, the doc did say that there is a good possibility that my oatmeal consumption is the reason for my "good" (not great) Cholesterol #'s for my age, taking into account my family history of serious heart disease issues.

I DID NOT tell him about my steroid use. With that in mind, I personally believe that these numbers are GREAT.

ADD OATMEAL TO ALL YOUR SHAKES!!

:beertoast

I add oatmeal to my post workout shake, was put onto it from one of my boys a few years back. I use a coffee grinder to get it as fine as possible, what method do you use when making your shake?

Edit: Oh, and that info is definitely good to know. Makes me feel even better about adding it now, thanks for that man.

I just add it in the blender with the protein, and blend it up for about 60 seconds or so. It's grinds up pretty well. It's not super fine, but I don't mind. I'm completely used to having oatmeal "bits" in my shakes now.

My cholesterol results show I am lower during my cycle.

I suggest you look up a supplement: Serrapeptase. This has a unique property of actually reducing the plaque in arteries...yeah something your doc never mentioned I am sure. Do some research and you will see what it can do.
