Anyone find these helpful? Im taking about setting the pins low, and performin the squat from the bottom up, setting it down each rep. I gave them a try and to my suprise, was incredibly weak compared to my normal squat weights. Guess im wondering if these are a worthwhile variation??

i do them every other time i squat same with bench.. it works for me cuz i dont have any one to spot me so it helps build up the part of your squat and bench that is the sticking point... good strength exercise imo just dont do them over and over ya know...mix things up a bit

ive found conentric only GM's to be very helpful..pretty similar to a bottom up squat except your using more hips and erectors with the GM's

dougo make sure to keep good form on these. its very easy to get all outa whack.

have you tried the pause squats? easier to keep form.

if not my ass cheekies highly recommends them to you ass cheekies. =0l

Another squat method worth trying is superslow squats, take ten seconds on the upward movement. I usually mix these in once in a while to shock the system into growth.
