Can Casein with a waxymaze be better then Whay?

Casein with a waxy maze?

When I take my shake after weights I always use Whey protein with Dextrose to immediately get a spike of sugar into my blood stream with protein to feed the muscles.

But

I'm out of Whey now and I have a ton if Casein which I only use at night. Except right now I'm using it combined with dextrose. Casein molecular structure is different then Whey does it still break down slow though though I'm adding a waxeymaze??

I herd of a study between the two proteins and they said casein will put on more quality mass then whey.

I'm also wondering if I should just stick with Casein entirely for mass building?

Or

Should I go back and use both?

The study you heard is probably not the full story. . Whey has it's benefits such as spiking blood AA levels quicker but casein does so over an extended period of time. Whey stimulates more muscle protein synthesis but casein has a larger impact on leucine retention. Either opus just as good but it's important to get a wide variety of sources so don't rely on any one source too much. No need wpfor waxy maize or dextrose but that's up to you.

So Dre Is it bad to always use dextrose? I'm wondered about insulin spike but don't know much about it and not sure if I want to take the risk. Waximaze is the only thing I know a little about when it comes to weights. I eat lots of protein as well. At one point up to 7000 calories. Now I am at much lower deficit. But planning on going back in the next three to four weeks maybe sooner. Any other post drinks you recommend? Anyone

Dextrose isn't bad. It's just an empty carb source. If you want to use it that's fine or if you want oats, potatoes, rice, milk, etc those are fine too. Do not worry yourself over insulin spikes unless you're diabetic. What people often forget is that carbs aren't usually eaten in isolation by our population (lifters). It's usually taken with dietary fat also and almost always taken with protein. Both protein and fat (as well as fiber) can slow digestion times down blunting a "spike" in insulin. Also even if you did spike it, it will still stay in a physiological range in having the differences are nil.

What are your stats? I have a hard time accepting the fact of 7000calories unless you're a really big person or a very over active thyroid. How do you track calories and macros if you don't mind me asking? How do you ep measure servings?

As to post drinks they're only really necessary if you are training fasted. If you eat a couple hours before the gym you can wait to eat until you get home and cook or take your shake. There's no real rush to beat the anabolic window. It doesn't exist really. I usualky have a big burger or double and some fries or eggs and cereal or oatmeal before the gym. I usually have a a shake after the gym but that's because lifting makes me very hungry. It's usually just whey protein in whole milk or I'll make a shake in a blender with while milk, whey, apple and banana or blueberries, oats, PB and spinach

Dre I am 6'5" 3/4 but I usually just say 6'5" hovering 250lb bf 18% a bit high but I'm trying to get it down before I jump back on AAS. My whole life people always complain how much I eat. My wife says I eat for five people.

I track my Calories & Macros with fitness pal and implement everything I eat all day. I carry it everywhere I go put in how many Calories I want to eat as a goal and try to meet them. Sometimes when I am doing the 7000 cal I'll eat a 2.5 lbs steak(London Broil) with a large Yam and Avocado and I'll do that twice a day. With my other meals and shakes etc etc. I was up to 280lbs but I injured my self so I took 5 months off due to my injury. feeling much better now. Though I did loose a lot of weight from not training. (high metabolism) But also my pct's in the past sucked. This time after reading a lot here on the boards and the sticky I am going to do everything by the book. Hopefully I'll be able to keep most of what I gain this next time around. Pct just kills me when I go thru it. I tried Cruising (TRT) self administered but then I ran into a problem that my source 3-ml/Vials of Test E was fake based on my blood work. I won't be buying that product ever again. But now I got some good stuff that I know is quality.

I used to eat burgers and fries but I'm trying to eat clean and bulk. Eating dirty sometimes helps me eat a lot more calorie too. lol

Dude you are like the Jolly Green motherfucking giant lol. Ok so those stats make 7000cals much more reasonable. I eat like you for my size bc I'm too active at work and it burns too many calories. Good luck with running a safe cycle brother.

As to the diet, there's no advantage to clean over dirty besides bloat possibly. If the macros are the same in both diets the effect on body comp will be the same. Have a read:

Thanks Dre, just got home from a exhausting seminar. I'll be reading your response and then possibly eat dinner hit the sack and start all over again tomorrow. My parents were so happy when I moved out when I was a kid. They said there food bill dropped $200/week. They barely buy $100/week now. But that was a long long time ago. Be safe bro, ttys ~Moose!
