Can you train with a rotator cuff tear ?

reg ortho ? the only way i cab get the MRI is at the sportsclinic ( located at the hospital ) or pay for it on a private hospital (...and i havent got the money for that)..

...so 4 months wait is a must, allthough i told them, if another paitient cancels his/hers appointment, then i can take the place within 1-2 hours notice !

pulling -> i guess no. 6 is useless then ! thx.. :)

What does MRI stand for ? im from denmark and will then find the danish word for it...in denmark doctors are free, but you sometimes have to wait long for special treatment.

As hard as it is, I would heed Drveejay's advice. The shoulder is the most complex joint in the body involving the greatest range of motion and the greatest potential speed. A myriad of specific injuries are possible, and without knowing the specifics of your injury, you should be doing as little as possible involving your shoulder. Since even the best lower body gym exercises such as Deadlifts and Squats involve the shoulder girdle, you're pretty much stuck with sprints, machine low-back and lower body training, and weightless ab work.

My dad has the same problem..He's a powerlifter always liftin heavyweight on his shoulders...has a rotator cuff tear and just continued lifting..the doc told him to stay away from over the head lifts...and he has continued to so far and bench squats and deads are fine for him ...the weight doesnt bother him..but holding heavy weight on your shoulders will eventually hurt anyways...but so far he hasnt had any problems...he'd rather be lifting then gettin the surgery and taking a yr and half off and not even 100% for sure if he will ever get back to the way he is now
