You were in the 300's pre TRT...
Maybe some lifestyle changes would have raised it some...
Hard to say.
A restart would have been interesting for you to try before hoping on TRT.
I know this may not qualify as a "restart", but I was on clomid for a month at 50mg a day. I can't remember exactly without looking back, but I think the blood work I got was only a few weeks after stopping clomid.
As for lifestyle changes the only thing I could have done really any different was to clean up my diet a bit. I'm 38 and have been lifting since I was 16, so I'm very in tune with my body. Even when I was eating clean and getting the right macros I couldn't shake the body fat from around my gut and generally everything I tried failed. I was hitting the weights in the a.m. and doing jiu jitsu in the p.m. and still wouldn't lose weight or bodyfat.
I'm not being defensive just letting you know the situation. I would get frustrated at the lack of progress and then fall of the wagon for 4-5 months and repeat the cycle. I just kept chalking it up to old age.
What did your TT, FSH, LH reach after that clomid run?
After stopping the clomid everything crashed to baselines after a month or so?
Part of the problem is that I never had a baseline. I never had bloodwork done until then. I just didn't know about certain things until recently. LH and fsh were normal post clomid, but my TT was 308. A 2nd test was 319. I'm loving how I'm feeling right now and I'm only 5 weeks I to this and not even "dialed in" yet, so at this point I'm glad that everything has led me to this point. I already have been in much better spirits over the last few weeks.
Was the clomid legit?
No way of knowing without trying. 250 i.u. is a low dose. Nothing to worry. Day before shot seems to work best for me and others on here.
