I work with this guy who is a marathon runner. I told that recently I am stuck ina rut and seam not to loose any weight, he told me to get a heart rate monitor and stay between a specific heart rate zone in order to burn from my fat instead of burning from my protein that was stored up. Anyone try this? And what other cardio routines are there? I was just getting on the treadmill, ellipitical machine, bike, jump rope, whatever and going as hard as I can he told me that is no good to stay in the target heart rate zone. Just wondering what you guys think?

it is true that the more intense the exercise, the more sugar and the las fat you will burn, it is like a sliding scale, the less intense, like at rest, your body is using fat storage for energy and conserving the sugar because of this quick realease energey it can provide
