Chicago712's Summer Cut Blast Log -

Chicago712

Pro Bodybuilder
Hey guys

I decided to make a log documenting my current blast, since my thread http://www.steroidology.com/forum/anabolic-steroid-forum/669712-chicago712-gear-porn-2014-summer-blast.html as gained some good reply's and views...

and I'd really like to log my progress not only to hold myself accountable, but also to invoke some good dialogue on all aspects of a cut cycle that could be valuable information for anyone else interested in running any sort of cut cycle..

soooo a little about me

Diet

I will come back to this section and right more indepth as to what my diet looks like as of right now but it will be changing on most likely a bi-weekly basis dependent on how my progress is

Currently Consuming
2800cal
300g protein

I am carb cycling so carbs and fats are adjusted depending on the amount of carbs i am assigned to consume on specific days, my carb cycle goes as such

Light days - 50g carbs
Medium days - 150g carbs
Heavy days - 300-400g carbs

Fats are distributed to fill the rest of my calories

Thank you for everyone who will participate in my log, please refrain from going off topic in this thread, I would very much appreciate if we could stay on topics having anything to do with diet/gear/training.... also please be respectful and be mature

Now i was talking to another member about using fasted cardio and obviously diet as a tool to reach my goals, does anyone have any input on how to execute a succesful fasted cardio session?

are there any supplements that should be taken first thing in the morning prior to fasted cardio to get the best results?

Also now that you see what my diet looks like is there anything you would change ?

and I'm Also deciding if i should take the mast out till i reach single digit bf% and then throw it in, and i'm considering up the dose of tren week 6 to about 150mg/eod

BTW my first pin of the blast was on 5/16/14

Nice sounds like a good cycle goodluck to you brother definitely will be checking in on this one what are your goals for this cycle?

Going to train shoulders right now

usually my work out looks like

Side Lateral Raises ( Focus on at the top of the movement my pinky finger should be upward, to more efficiently hit the lateral head
Front Lateral Raises ( Focus on the squeez, Move DB across chest to really feel the anterior delt the most
Bent over Lateral Raises ( Light weight, Focus on squeezing, do not use body movement for momentum)
Seated Dumbell Press ( Moderate weight, control the movement, slow on decline really focusing on control

Super set
Side Cable Raise
Front Cable Raise
Rear Cable Fly

Rear pec deck ( Moderate weight focusing on the squeezing )
Face Pulls with rope attachment ( pull to right above my head, keep abs tight, do not use momentum, pull rope apart at the top of the movement)

Shrugs - different variations - Machine, Barbell, DB, Behind the back BB -- (SLOW AND CONTROLLED, Moderate weight, no jerking, raise to my ears and let myself get a good stretch)

This is my typical shoulder workout that completely annihilates my delts, I love high volume workouts, but don't let the volume fool you my intensity is till 200%.. and light weight is weight that can be repped to 10-15(at which point failure occurs)

Anyone got any different shoulder exercises they believe are key to their development? I've been shying away from upright rows for a while now, maybe i should throw those in there

well since i'm on TRT and my long term goal is to look like a bodybuilder... whether i compete or not that'll only matter once i'm where i want to be and if i feel i can take an overall with my body at that time...

My goal for the immediate future is to drop down to about 8% give or take and maintain that for a month or 2 then slowly add on more LBM, by that time i would have given my bloodwork to my doctor and i'd probably do a blast to put on some mass (around december) because i know that a lean body will more easily add muscle without the added fat.... at that point ill prolly hop on deca and maybe an orall..

but for now its time to get peeeled!

I feel like I'm surrounded by smarter bros than myself, so rather than badly parroting I wanted to copy pasta this for you - excuse the language, and also remember this was directed towards someone less experienced so it's not an attack just a general FYI with regards to tren, macros and fat loss:

If you are eating below your TDEE and getting in your protein, it doesn't fucking matter. If you're below your TDEE, your body isn't going to be trying to convert anything to fat. Tren will tell your body (b/c it is so fucking anabolic) to not burn muscle for fuel (e.g. catabolism) and to just burn fat. Thus, fat loss.

You can go pretty far below your TDEE. I've went 1,500 calories below my TDEE without losing strength. Lost a lot of energy, but no strength.

NOW, if you're eating above your TDEE b/c you're trying to do that oh so magical bullshit of gaining muscle while losing fat, that's a different story. Tren can help stop new fat creation, when estrogen is low. It will not stop straight fat storage. Above your TDEE, you want to have carbs -- but only to a point. You want to eat enough carbs so as to have a little of the Tren night sweats, but not a lot. If you're bed is soaked, you're taking in too many carbs and Tren is pushing them into your mitochondria and they are getting turned to heat, and you're sweating. For this to work, you must control your E2 and keep it low. So, regularly dose Aromasin / Adex. . .

This low E2 requirement is why we typically recommend high tren, low test for a cut cycle.

This is where the point I made earlier came from, a discussion with deletedlink (the OP of this gem)...essentially; judge your carb allotment by how much you are sweating. No carbs past dinner (e.g. 7-8pm, if sleeping at 10-11pm).

I only do light carbs for dinner as well.

If I fuck up and am short 500 calories @ 9:30pm...it's a carton of eggwhites & three scoops of whey down the hatch.

that definitely a good quote, and it really dumbs it down for anybody to understand, i do a pretty good at keeping carbs pretty low and so far havent noticed much of any night sweats..

and don't fool yourself bro you post some very useful information around the boards...

awesome bro glad to have you, anything that you feel is important please feel free and throw it out there....

on another note, i just got back from doing the shoulder workout i posted and i'm feeling great, i feel sooo drained lol...

I notice i'm getting that pump that is only seen with the use of trenbolone and my shoulders are already popping way more... im fuckin psyched for the upcoming few weeks

Subbed also, btw.

You don't have to post them up yet but make sure you get some "before" shots (even if you're a few days in it would still be close enough) so you can marvel at your "after" shots down the road.

I would be interested to read about your strength progression every once in a while.
Maybe you could keep track of your reps/sets/weight and post that in this log.

I like your though here. I gave up on keeping track of weight amount and focus on the lifts. I love it too, because I get way less injuries and my joints thank me. Also, I have made more gains this way.
At 46 I just want to look good, not lift a car.

Your log is likely to get lost in this section. You may want to move it to the "my cycle log" section.

ehhh im not to worried about it, i subbed the thread and will be able to find it, i also plan on updating every day so it shouldn't go far

ya i dont even care about what the dumbell or plate says .... my muscle can't relate to weight so why should i?

^ I tried pulling 495 this morning and literally puked in my mouth...I need to remember this more often

ya, 495 is my max i've ever pulled but like i said the only time ill do some real heavy singles or doubles is when im extremely pissed off and wanna blow off some steam

Killed chest tonight.. the hormones are definitely doin their thing, illl get into more detail on my workout after i eat

okay so tommorow marks a week that i've been on my blast, and i'm already noticing tons more separations, vascularity, and strength increase....

upped the and lowered dosages a little bit

Tren A - upped to 150mg eod
Test P - lowered to 50mg eod

removed the masteron till week 6 when things really start to pop

okay so on to the chest workout

cable chest flys on a freemotion - really focus on getting the blood to the muscles, i feel this is a real good warm up hitting all 3 angles as a superset, I try and only move my arms and not use any momentum of the body.

smith machine incline press - this is my main compound, go as heavy as i can with good form and tempo, always focusing on time under
tension.... after 3 sets i lower to flat bench - superset this with very light wide grip lat pulldowns -- i feel like when i do this i not only increase the weight i can push but it really helps the mind muscle connection

hammer strength chest press
- love this excercise, i do a drop set with close and then wide grip and then reverse the order of grip on the next set - this is my flat variation main compound lift - so i load up the weights and use slow and controlled movement to efficiently push the weight i chose

overhead hammer strength pullovers - for some reason i like to hit this at the end of my chest workout.. i focus on squeezing my chest...
flat bench smith machine press - here i go lighter and really focus on the squeeze, i utilize drop sets, rest pause, and on the last set i burn out with no weight at all doing as many slow controlled reps as i can

decline hammer strength - i use lightweight maybe just a plate or two and really rep this out as it is almost the end of my workout and by this point i just want to destroy all the muscle fibers

pec deck - this is the finisher - focus heavy on the stretch and controlling the eccentric and concentric phase of the lift
