Not really. Use core exercises to your benefit. I find that when I add weight to my ab routine, my abs push out more. To flatten, I lay off the weight and do core shit. The other exercises you are doing for other parts of your body can be adjusted to work your core strength. Anything standing will force your abs and back to hold you upright, these type of exercises with maybe some ball work, pilates (if your brave enough), and strength exercises will flatten them out.
