cops waiting at the mailbox

bottom line is all you paranoid fucks just need to stop. if youre scared of what COULD happen to you then dont do anything illegal

if the cops want you, they WILL get you no matter what. if you're small time, odds are, you will get a slap on the hand and they will want you to cooperate with them in exchange.

be smart and dont get greedy by ordering truck loads of gear all the time, just do personal use here and there and have it sent to a place other than your own home

BINGO Richard!!!

The regular police = warrant
Postal Police = seize what they want

If it has to do with your mail then it won't be the regular black and white coming to your house. It will be the Postal Police because it is a federal matter in which case you're screwed.

Stonecold... LOL... is there anything that you will believe? you didn't believe my diet so I put it up and you close the thread with no comment. I guess you would like for me to fax the Postal Inspectors memorandum on me which states from April 2006 until Dec. 2006 I was under investigation and what they observed?!

Did you know that the sky is blue... and gray at times?

oh and you can call me dick, richard is my given name, dick is what i prefered to be called, dick nose :tounge2:

I think there is a difference between seize and opening packages cause they suspect possible illegal activity...There has to be protocol for this I dont believe that a supervisor at the PO can just open up a piece of mail....just sayin

Customs has their own protocol. Its mail coming in from foreign countries.

I believe domestic mail falls under different guidelines/protocols.

There has to be a suspected threat I'm assuming to just open domestic mail without a warrant.

Ok that a little clairer are postal police and customs one and the same?

if your that paranoid just take a black marker with you to the mailbox-when you get your pack as your walking back to the house-write "return to sender" on the package. leave it on the porch for a couple of days. do not take it inside the house. if something happens just say you were planning on putting back in the mailbox the next time you checked your mail. and you have know clue what the fuck it is-or who the sender is-then shut your mouth-and say you do not want to answer any questions til your lawyer is present-when you say those words they are not suppose to ask you anymore questions

Drew the proper protocol is give to a supervisor or manager they then contact the postal police and investigators. That's if you get suspicious mail. If someone is being watched you are told what to do which is the same thing. You as a letter carrier can't open it.

Now just because management isn't supposed to open it doesn't mean they don't. I have seen them do it.

Thank you ythrashing! The post office is it's own entity all together and even though you would think there are things that they can not do they do do it. This is why there are not many lawyers who like to go up against them.

Taz you worked for the po and never saw them do anything wrong?

Whenever it comes to legal issues, there are so many grey areas. My friend just finished 2 years of criminal justice and is applying to be a cop. Here in NJ a cop can not arrest you inside your home, they have to take you outside. If youre a passenger in a car that gets pulled over, the cop ask u for ID, you do not have to show him cuz youve done nothing wrong. If a cop walks toward you on the street and you take off running, as long as you run in the same direction its not eluding, the minute you make a left or right it is. I was LMAO when he told me this, sooo many grey areas when it comes to law and what will hold in court.

mail is ferderal , so unless the feds get involved the local cops won't even know whats happening. As for picking up the mail at 2am. That would raise more suspition then picking it up at a normal hour.

More info on Maryland gym’s controlled steroid delivery.
A 30-year-old fitness studio owner has been charged with drug possession this week after city police and federal agents allegedly found syringes and suspected steroids inside a black bag he was carrying, according to police.

Mark Eugene Miller, owner of Mark Miller Fitness in the 900 block of South Salisbury Boulevard, was placing the bag in his truck when Salisbury Police and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents seized the bag, according to charging documents.

ICE, an investigative agency within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that enforces immigration and customs laws, alerted city police to two alleged packages, one from Greece and one from Romania, Miller was expecting. His arrest came at the end of a weeklong investigation by city and federal investigators, according to Salisbury police.

“Customs gets involved in anything illegal from overseas,” said Lt. Rob Kemp, a spokesman for the Salisbury Police Department.

Police said they found more than 300 prescription steroids, including Anapolon, Oxandrolone and Stanoplex, according to court documents. Investigators also found several syringes inside the bag.

Following the search, police took Miller into custody and charged him with multiple counts of possessing a controlled dangerous substance. The fitness center owner was released on his own recognizance the same day, according to court records.

Miller did not return phone calls for comment from The Daily Times on Friday.

Possession of a controlled dangerous substance is a misdemeanor in Maryland and carries a maximum penalty of four years in prison.

A Wicomico County District Court hearing for Miller has been scheduled for early April. However, the case could be transferred to Circuit Court.
