cops waiting at the mailbox

I had a kid steal my cridit card and order one of those "Flesh lights" its a pocket pussy....

Anyway the cop called the distrubuter of the Flesh light and got the kids PO box shipping info.

Cop went to the post office and asked them to call the owner of the post box and tell em a package arrived for them and to come and pick it up.

Post office called em and kid came by about 1hr later and the cop picked his ass up...

HAHAHAHAHA

I'd imagine its embarassing enough to get caught stealing someones cc, I can't imagine the embarassment of having my life ruined over a flesh light. Imagine explaining that in future job interviews lol

I know... I asked the cop to ask the prosecutor to lower the charge to a misdemeanor theft so he didnt have a felony on his record for the rest of his life.

Not to start shit on this thread but YES the PO will do some sneaky shit. I know because I work for the PO as a carrier. I have had Postal inspectors at my house on a number of occasions for bogus shit and they have even sent the OIG to my house. This was for unrelated reasons as to what you are speaking about on here but I just wanted you to know that you should be careful with the PO.

They will sit outside your house and they don't need a warrant to open your mail. The postal police and postal inspectors are totally different then the police and because there are not many people such as lawyers who want to go up against them they will do what they want.

The best thing to do is to not go to pick up from a po box if called and if it is coming to a residence then do not open the package right away. Leave it sit for a while so that if they do come you can say that you didn't order anything and was taking it back to the PO to return it but haven't had time.

They will hold your mail for days at the PO to see if you will call as another tactic to catch you. They will wait as long as it takes and they will take pictures of you picking up your package either at a PO box or from your own house box.

So please do take caution. If you don't order much or order alot then you shouldn't throw up a red flag but know that they can and will do this.

Them spending tax payers money is also another misconcept. The PO is its own separate government. It does not receive money from the fed government. The PO was losing so much money and begging the fed government for money all the time so the fed government finally said you are on your own and will receive no more help from us. The PO gets paid by the advos or as you would call it junk mail. The tax payers do not pay for anything in relation to the PO. Therefore, the PO will spend any amount of money on anything and that is why they are losing billions of dollars a yr.

Sorry for the intrusion but I wanted to correct these myths about the PO.

Our mailman is a very good friend of ours and my husband went to school with him. It doesn't have anything to do with your mailman... it's what goes on in the office before your mailman delivers.

Your mail goes through a number of processes before even getting to your mailman. Management will do whatever it takes to get that extra bonus each month. I have worked there for 12 yrs. and I have seen first hand what they do that's why I use UPS for packages if possible. They have even had me falsify paper work to keep their scores high because if they are low they get penalized. I'm not the only one. I have helped many others who have gotten in trouble and have a number of friends who work for the PO that have seen other things that I myself haven't seen. A few things I have personally seen are hiding of first class mail because they couldn't get it out on time, forcing carriers into overtime and then changing their times and not paying them the overtime, stamping packages received damaged when they weren't received damage they were the ones who damaged it, and not delivering express on time and going into the computer to change the status to delivered when it never went out and was still at the PO. I have also seen them open someone's mail and then leave it on their desk and hold it for weeks at a time.

I have had inspectors sitting outside my house for months and even tailing me to where I would go. They followed me to college and back yrs. ago when I was attending college.

I could go into the whole Postal thing but they are nuts.

Yrs. ago when I first started the PO inspectors were watching this house. I wasn't a regular at the time so I was working all the different routs in the station. The regular mailman along with myself and a few others who tended to the route were given info about the house being watched. They were looking for mail coming from a specific person. We were told that if any mail came from this person or specific area that we were to hold the mail and turn it into management so that management could contact the PO inspectors.

Needless to say the person was apprehended.

It depends what you are doing wrong. If you're perceived as a little guy you probably are worrying for nothing. If you're big and they've decided your case will be sensational in the media, look out. Rick Collins has a good book out: Steroid Law which is very informative. It goes into detail the legality of certain drugs in each of the US states as well as other topics that are certain to make you paranoid. Its a good read.

I checked with 3 people so far about whether or not your mail may be opened without a separate warrant. One is a district attorney, one is a defense attorney and one retired from the post office last year. All agreed unless it is a Federal Investigator, it can not be opened. Im getting ready to check with a Fed. right now, and Ill let you all know.

Damn she aint fuckin around, she mean business lol

Here we go again. The Postal inspectors and Postal Police.... Federal agencies. Call me a liar again.

YES they can open your mail. Like I said they are different then the regular police.

Been there...seen it done!

The Postal service retains the right to inspect and seize all incoming and out going packages/mail as they see fit. It is Federal property once it hits the blue collection box or facility.

During the anthrax attacks thru mail we were instructed to confiscate any suspicious mail and turn it into management who then contacted the inspectors who then opened the mail for inspection.

If they feel that a business is shady and are dealing in drugs, porn, etc... they will investigate by any means possible.

I WORK FOR THEM!

They once had a scam dealing with a po box at the post office that I work at where people were sending money to this po box and the business using the po box turned out to be fake and ripping people off. The Postal inspectors came into our building and confiscated all the mail to be opened.

Keep trying to discredit me. I work there you don't.
