someone help with a routine to build an good nicely preportioned chest
right now i do....

heavy incilne, wide grip, 4x10to failure
heavy bench 5x8-10
dips-3x8-10
throw in some hammer stength wide chest, declines, and inclines
flys3x10 :redhot:

here's my routine... works well for me..
5x5 flat bench alternating grips (wide and shoulder width)
2x8 incline dbell
2x8 incline flyes

i put about 5-10lbs on my bench everyweek so i guess it works

How long have you been doing this routine and how many times/week do you train chest?

vinni, im all natural i dont even creatine or anything all you gota do is push yourself everyweek in the gym there are some days where is struggle to put the extra 5 lbs up and somedays thats its easy but its mostly in part to my diet...

ive been doin this routine for about a month by now, and i train my chest about 3 times a week as much as i wanna train it EVERYDAY!

How about training your chest 1-2x / week. If its 2x / week how about cutting the volume in half.

You working it 3x / week is WAY WAY to much. There is no recovery there.

I had a feeling you were training too much. Your routine didn't sound too bad but I would take Dirk's advice.

so how much you benching now??

i did 5x5 too but i think its an routine to hit a plateau real fast

i was up at 295 from a dismal 195 in a month than i stopped lifting for a month(big mistake) so now im at 275 for 5 reps... o well i lost 20 lbs because of laziness im not at any impressive numbers now but i will crack the 300 mark and im hoping to be in the 400's by the end of the year... diet is where its at 5x5 work well but only if your diet is equally matched
