Dbol oral cycle...

So my friend started his dbol cycle recently, I was a little curious how these cycles are done since I've never done an oral cycle. I read a bit that said most people take 50mg? Does this mean 50mg every 8 hours or 50mg daily? 25 & 25 every 8...

I would not do an oral only cycle. You will likely not keep many of the gains, while still being hard on your liver.

Do you have an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) or PCT in place? No offense, but if you don't know what these are then you should not be doing any sort of steroids/hormone therapy until you are further educated on the topic.

Please take some time to read through the stickies at the top of the forum at a minimum.

depends, its half life is 4ish hours, I'm typically awake for 12-16h per day, so I would shoot for 10mg every 4h, depending on how big your caps are. Most just say take 25mg 1-2h preworkout, then take 25mg 1-2h post workout, evenly for mass, pre/post workout for strength. Oral cycles are very expensive, you need all those natty supplements to combat the effects, if he was smart he would have a natty test base, like DAA or Transaderm, it just borders on retarded when it comes to on cycle protection, I spent about $1000 on a 10 week cycle, and now I'm running a 18 week cycle for half that (including dbol/anavar).

Wonder if the half life is still 4 hours regardless of dosage? 25mg would be 4 hours? Seems short.

The half life does not change regardless of the dose. However, the more you take the more will be active at a given point in time after you take the dose. For example, if you take 25 mgs., then 4 hours later, half will be active (12.5 mgs.). If you take 50 mgs. in one dose (not recommended), then 4 hours later, half will be active (25 mgs.).

Exactly what I wanted to know thanks for clarifying

Thanks brotha, don't plan on doing dbol this cycle was inquiring because a gym buddy does oral only cycles and was curious how its done.

Not to beat a dead horse but " how it's done" is incorrectly. There is no "right way" to do an oral only cycle. It seems you know this already, but just make sure to use test as a BASE and build AROUND that. Don't let anyone talk you outta using test either.

People want the easy way out for everything, I ran dbol for 4 weeks on cycle and at the on my 5th week day 1 I lost 10lbs of water weight, imagine just running it alone, it just seems like a waste of time, at least with LBM PHs you get some real hard gains before you drop off, I won't know the extent of my dbol gains, until damn near the end of my cycle.

Yeah I tell my friend this (the one that always does oral cycles) but he swears by them. He's put on 50-60 pounds through training and dbol in the past 3 years. Might just work well for his genetics, I won't ever be doing a oral only cycle, was just curious how dosages were.

A lot of times people credit gains to steroids, when in fact they usually start taking things seriously when they get on cycle, and straighten up diet and training... when most of the times the exact same thing with out gear would have done the same thing, at least to those first couple of cycles... I would say few are at their max potential before starting gear.

I couldn't agree more. There was a study a while back with a bunch of high school athletes when the coach gave them steroids (they were actually sugar pills) and then told them to take them 2x a day and that they would all get faster, stronger and have increased appetite. Needless to say they all got bigger, faster and stronger just because of the placebo and they started taking it more seriously

Spending money is enough motivation for me to not waste a cycle, off cycle I could be like, "I don't feel like working out today, so I won't. There's always tomorrow." Or "Let's get drunk guys, sure no problem!". On cycle it would be like, "I really shouldn't drink, it will hurt my gains, possibly even my liver." Or "I spent good money on this cycle, everyday I don't workout is money/gains lost."
